I sold a genuine Fendi lambskin bag on EBay, buyer said shoulder straps were not with the bag and they were. Paypal gave buyer their money back, I now have a bag, authenticate Fendi with no shoulder straps. Can anyone PLEASE offer me suggestions for both Paypal and how do I replace these shoulder straps? Joyce

I'm not sure what you can do if the case is already closed and the buyer won and your bag has been returned. If you're sure the shoulder strap was included, then it sounds like your buyer had buyer's remorse and was creating an excuse to return the bag.

You could try calling PayPal and explaining but it looks like they believe you sent it without the strap.

As a last ditch effort, you could try to message the buyer and ask if she could mail the strap if she were to find it. (Pretend you believe her and it was an accident.) Maybe assure her that the case is already closed in her favour and you won't hold it against her, but you really believe you sent the strap and if she could please send it if she locates it.

Agree. The bottom line is don't bid on the bag if you don't have the proper photos. There will be other bags. Plus, how will you get it authenticated without more photos?

So I sent her a message again last night asking if she will be near the bag before the auction ends and be able to take pictures then, and I have not heard back. I'm guess that means I won't be getting any more pictures. It's funny because in her listing, she says to message her for more pictures, but when you do, she doesn't give you any. :shrugs: Oh well, I won't be bidding.

Seriously seriously peeved today. 5 transactions all going weird after a good run. Central to them is customs duty and a special individual who loves to claim Item Not Received and will neg people for a 99c item - no morals at all.:bagslap: I am now banning Europe from all of my auctions.:shucks: I really don't want to do this because there are lots of wonderful buyers in Europe, but why a few people think I should give them special conditions is beyond me. It's just not fair.

So, I'll have to spend extra time to specially adjust my settings to exempts all the lovely European buyers I have sold to in the past with no problems. Frankly, I'd rather be spending my weekend with my kids, but I have bills and I just need to rant about this. How anyone can think that asking me to write something down by hundreds of dollars and leave me liable for the bill if anything goes wrong, is just unbelievable. What they are doing, is exposing me and them to criminal charges:police:. Why? Why? Why?

It's not my fault that people in America can bid to $200 with no tax and Australians can bid to $1000 with no tax, but Canadians get hit with it at $22 (7%) but the Europeans get hit with 20 - 40 % taxes after about $30. I don't make these rules. But we are stuck with them. Lots of Europeans will pony up with their payments without complaining a bit. To those wonderful buyers, I salute you!

She purchased BRAND NEW Chanel earrings W/ TICKET/ORIGINAL BOX with the sticker still on in Jan. 25. Received item a few days later/left me a positive fb. On Feb. 9 She wrote: I bought those for my niece and don't think she likes them because she never wears them and she was wondering if it is possible to exchange them for something else. I immediately without hesitation or doubt replied; "Yes ofcourse you can and not to worry about a thing". She thanked me and got my address for return. Next day she emailed that she sent them back and I will have them next week on Tuesday. When it didn't arrive I emailed her on Wednesday. She said she can not find my address to return the earrings and if I can give it to her again. WTH??? :confused1:
I received back the earrings after one month finally! I open the box and WTF???? :faint:
This is not my earrings. It was used beyond... the red enamel was weird on the CC ( like they did it with nail polish. no ticket, no sticker on the box, the back of the earrings had ear wax on and was so scratchy..
This is how she repayed me for being too naive and nice. I kept my cool and wrote back that these earrings are clearly not what I had sent her based on the pics in my listing and I am sorry that they will be returned right back to her. I have not heard anything ever since.
I spare you the details about all the lies and games she played to procrastinate the return of earrings, or perhaps she just had guilty feeling and not sure if she should go ahead with her plan..since I was super nice and courteous in my responds to her.
I gave this a lot of thoughts and finally decided to post her ebay id here regardless of what is going to happen next. If she did this to me. I am sure she will try it a different way again with another poor seller. Sell to her at your own risk! :nono:

By the way if she happens to read here or is a member ( I truly hope she is not, because I hold all tpfer's in high regard) I do have the pictures of what you send me back and what I sold you in addition to copies of all emails and correspondence between us to prove my case and I would gladly post them here if you dare to challenge!

uuugh I need to rant

one of my buyers just neg´d me because his item is in foreign customs. he has the tracking number...uuuuuugh he´s a zero feedback byuer so probably doesnt even know that I know need to get arounf 100 positive ratings to get mack to my 99,9 percent feedback. hate it.

can I do that? I mean will ebay do anything?

If he has made any references to customs duty inside the eBay system there is a chance they will fry him for you.. IF your listing has the customs duty wording in the top half of the listing. If you do not have this in the top half of the listing they probably will not do much.

But I did have a couple of buyers who were deliberately leaving their items unclaimed in the UK customs system. I contacted eBay, showed them the tracking details and then magically, the items got delivered and I never heard any more whining from the buyers.

I am so frustrated.I have had about 4 nonpaying buyers in the past week! And they aren't newbies either. Feedback of like 300+. I followed the instructions on how to prevent this from the other thread but apparently its not working. Has anyone else had this problem?

did you click on the apply your settings to current and future listings? It's the last step at the bottom of the page.

Also, there seems to be a bit of a spike in NPBs or more desperate kinds of buyers kicking about. Just a trend I have noticed.

Stick your ground.
