i have one piercing in each ear. when i was 13, my mom wouldn't let me get any more piercings until i was 21, and when i was 14 i decided i wouldn't get any more in my ear, because i don't want to have like 6 ear piercings when i'm 85 
i don't wear clip-ons, because they irritate my ears. i wear only dangly/chandelier earrings -- the danglier the better! :weird: weird, i know.

I got my ears pierced when I was 2 months old. I only have one hole. I want to get a second hole but my mom said I would look trashy if I had a second one

The woman was a nurse too and offered to use the ear piercing gun from her work, however I wanted her to take her time and get the holes exactly the same, so we went with the more primitive method. 
I don't even remember when I got mine pierced.. I think I was 4, maybe 5 and my Mom took to me a store and they used a piercing gun. I don't think it hurt till the first time I had to take out the earrings... that definitely hurt!
I have three piercings in my left ear and one on my right. I had the two extra on my left done when I was young and foolish. I used to wear these tiny diamonds Donavan gave me but when we went our separate ways, I put them away with everything he ever gave me. I like wearing hoops the most.

I was 16 years old when I first pierced my ears. I had wanted to get mine pierced since I was about 9 or 10, but my mom wouldn't let me. Her parents came over to America from Croatia, and there, the only people who had pierced ears were the Gypsies. when I asked, she said, "no, I don't want some d:censor:ed gypsy running around the house." The summer of my junior year of high school, I went on a trip to France, and found the most wonderful gold hoops in a jewelry shop in St. Malo (I'm wearing them right now). I bought them, and when I got back home, I went into a local jewelry store and had them pierce my ears. Of course, my mom noticed right away, but it was done.:shame:
I pierced my left ear by myself with a needle two more times in my early 20's, and when my oldest daughter got her ears pierced, I went with her and had my right ear pierced two more times to match the left. (she just got one hole in each ear - at age 9)
I wear earrings all the time, and since I make gemstone jewelry, I have tons of really cool ones to choose from!
I honestly can't remember when I got my ears pierced nor do I remember it being sore, but with that said I only have one in each ear, so boring yeah? I know, so I opted to get my nose and naval pierced which I ironically removed and now want back again...blah blah blah!

2 holes in each ear, I used to wear 1 carat diamonds in front piercing and 0.5 carat dimaonds in 2nd piercing, but at the moment I'm loving the Chanel studs I picked up last week so I am wearing just one pair of earrings these days.
