My Goodness, you guys are so brave, belly button , nose, multiple nose piercing, I guess its best to get most of this done when ya young right ? LOL

Most people just presume my ears are pieced.

I have two holes in each ear. I got my first hole when I was about 13 after lots & lots of begging. My mom did not mind, but my father did not like pierced ears. Then, when I 16 I started working for Afterthoughts in the mall (it was like Claries...well, it actually got purchased by claires) and I had a co-worker do my second hole. I tried piercing my cartlidge (up at the top of my ear) but that hurt way too bad! I ended up taking it out after a couple of days.
I only really wear earings when I go out. I need to purchase some nice studs to keep in at all times, but I am lazy. :shame: My second holes may have closed up...I should actually check.

I have 9 piercings total lol. I got my first holes done when I was 7 (and boy did I cry!!!) and then became obsessed with having a second set so I could wear hoops that went from medium to small. Finally convinced my mom when I was 14 to get my 2nd holes and was content for...about 1 week. ;) I went to Europe and got my 3rd holes and my belly pierced for my 18th birthday (belly got infected though and I've never gotten it redone lol). I then got my 4th holes done, and then for my friends bday we both got our cartelidge done. I :heart: all of my piercings, and I guaged my left ear's 2nd piercing to a 14 ga so I can wear a tounge ring in it (what can I say? I'm easily bored! :laugh: ) but, I find that I don't wear my first set of earrings that often. those I change daily, the others I always wear posts in :smile1:

As for the fear of the "pain" of the piercings...it didn't hurt me at all! Not even the belly!! And I have NO tolerance for pain at all!!!

Yep. Currently 3 holes in each ear, but I usually only wear 1 pair of earrings. (I used to have 5 in each ear.)


How old were you when you got them pierced?
5 for the 1st piercings at a jewelry store.
18 for the 2nd & 3rd piercings at mall store.
20 for the 4th & 5th piercings, which I did myself with a needle.

Do you wear clip- ons ?
On occasion. I have a some costume jewlery clip-ons.

How old were you when you got them pieced 1st set as a baby, 2nd set in high school, and the 3rd one by a friend w/needle (my "stupid" days)

Have 2 sets of diamond studs. The 1st set, tiny from mom for a high school graduation present, wanted a car instead and the 2nd set is a diamond from my engagement ring when I was 21 (TG, I didn't marry him). I had to buy another to match! The odd hole is a tiny tiny hoop.

I don't have my ears pieced, I wear clip- ons if I need to, for going out or photo shoots. But they make my earlobes itch,

So, I try to avoid them whenever I can.

I got my ears pierced for the 1st time when I was 4 or something, but I was allergic to most materials at this time.
I pierced them again when I was 17 or 18 and since then I wear earrings all the time. I just love earrings :love: I never leave the house without. I rarely wear other jewelry, but w/ earings it's: the bigger the better!

I got my ears pierced when I was 13/14 years old. I got a second piercing about a year ago but it closed up. I'm thinking about getting them pierced again.

My favorite type of earrings are the long, dangling type. I occasionally where studs, but that's only when I've been wearing heavy earrings for a few days.

only have one ear piercing that was done as a baby. i only wear diamond studs. i like to keep it simple. my daughter had her ears pierced at age 8. she was so brave, honestly she surprised me because i did not think she would go thru with it.

haha.. i currently have 5 piercings

3 on left ear (one at teh bottom, middle and 2/3rds). One when i was about 8 and the other two when i was 14?
2 on my right (at the bottom) at ages 8 and 14.

back in 8th grade i also thought it was cool to be alternative - so although I had the opportunity of going to get my nose pierced, I decided to get a sewing needle and do it myself hehe..

I was surprised at how little blood it drew, and the little amount of pain! However, that piercing only lasted 1 month since friends told me it was ugly - i think i had trouble finding a small enough stud.

I've had my ears pierced since I was a baby. In the earliest picture I can remember (I think I was 1), my ears were pierced.

I don't. I usually find them to be very heavy on the ear, so they make my ear bend and the earrings sag down instead of staying up right so that it can be seen. Or, they are just too tight and become annoying after a while.

If they make your ears itch you might be experiencing an allergic reaction. :sad:

ive had my ears pierced when i was still a baby (i think), then around the age of 15 i had my upper part of the ear pierce - the cartilage part. and dang it hurt soo much. but i wanted to keep it since it defeats the purpose of me having to go through the pain and all that if i just let it heal back. about a year after, i had another pair of holes on the earlobe. so i got 5 piercings. :yes:
