Ear piercing question - two holes too many?

I used to have 2 on each ear but took a pair out and they healed. Now I only have one piercing in each ear, but I don't think there's a set limit for having "too many." It's all about personal preference! Personally, I want my nose done :p

31 years old, and though I hardly ever wear earrings in my lobes. - I have 4 piercings in my right ear lobe, 3 in my left ear lobe, a left tragus piercing and a left upper cartilidge piercing. I think of my left ear as my rebel ear. LOL! iI would ear earrings more often if I could find some studs that I like.

Go what what you like. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. People who judge me based on how many earrings I have in my ear are not worth my time.

I had my ears pierced for the first time at 22 & the second piercing 3 years later. A few years after that I did have a 3rd piercing but let that grow closed. I usually have hoop or studs in the first hole & wear sapphire or white gold studs in the 2nd hole. Two holes is not too many.

I had the second set of piercings (2) done tonight.

I had my first set of piercings when I was a toddler and over the years I grew some pretty fat earlobes. Was never really happy with the way studs or eurowires looked.

Finally admitted to myself that nothing was going to remedy my problem unless earrings could sit properly lower on the lobes. I'm really glad I did it, and I feel happy (and relieved) about it!

Do people still wear two sets of earrings? Most of the people I see with multiple ear piercings have way more than two holes. Or they have other non-lobe parts pierced, which looks cool but I don't know if that's something that would fly at my job, my office is pretty conservative. I'm thinking of studs only in the second holes and then whatever I feel like in the first ones.

I read your thread 3 days ago and immediately started thinking about getting mine done. I went to Claire's today and did. They look great! Thanks for the inspiration. :D

I have two holes in each ear. I like the way it looks with 2 studs or two sets of mini hoops. I had them double pierced along time ago and took out the second set for many years. I went last week to my piercer and she tapered the second holes since I didn't need them repierced. I was inspired after looking on etsy.com and seeing some really cute star and heart studs. Now I can't wait to get more earrings.

Nope, I don't think two holes are too many !

I have 2 holes on both side of my ears, I wear a tiny diamond stud on the 2nd one and change the 1st one with whatever I want! It compliments it pretty well!

Trashy? 80's? I have 2 holes in both of my ears and almost always have 2 sets of diamonds in - a small set in the back and larger in the front. ALOT of people I know have 2+ holes and I actually never think twice about it. Now I am self-conscious, lol! Here is a picture of my ear:

I had three in each ear, plus upper ear cartilage piercing on both ears. When I turned 30, I stopped wearing all but one pair.
Kind of like tattoos, they seem fun at the time when you're young, then you grow up.
