Its gorgeous! I’m getting this exact same one. I purchased the porcelain blue color but something about the color/model combination was not doing it for me. The Chestnut combo is gorgeous though!

Regarding your question on whether the bag is easy to get in and out of, I would say it isn't an issue for me. Personally I use the clasp and leave the two straps dangling and it is secure enough while providing quick access. Enjoy using your Alexa

first of all I think your bag looks gorgeous, so big congratulations! The colour is beautiful. I’ve been interested in the new Alexas too. I had a look at them in store the other day and decided to not get one because I knew the opening would drive me crazy. The turn lock is fine, but the two clasps made it so fiddly - I felt like I had to open both of them first, then get them out of the way in order to be able to open the main clasp. And then closing the bag was a hassle too since (at least when not completely full) the leather would give away and the outer flap would be hard to put onto the turnlock to close it if that makes sense? But I’m still admiring everyone’s bags from afar

Thanks for the feedback. I have an insert that I used with a previous bag that keeps it “full” and therefore the leather doesn’t give way as much, so that solves one of the problems. I’ve been literally practicing opening and closing by essentially just putting over the clasp and leaving the magnets unconnected. Seems silly but it’s so cute. Haven’t had the courage to take off the protective plastic etc yet and commit to keeping it. But I do see it’s sold out!Hi,

I definitely think it depends on the lighting but it does look lighter. The leather also reminds me of Hermes clemence leather.

I just got the mini Alexa in chestnut as well!
All my bags have zippers or open top with Alexa as the only exception being the only clasp bag I own. I love the timeless look of the Alexa and I was sad not getting it sooner before it got discontinued. The classic look outweighs the annoyance of getting in and out of the bag. I might get another one if other exciting colors arrives.
Play with it and wear it with different outfits.
If you can live with the magnets and clasp then I think you got a substantial bag for years that will never get out of style.

Sorry, just seen this and I’ve actually just sold my mini Alexa! I used it a couple of times but the flap annoyed me. I like to get in my bag one-handed and it just wasn’t working for me. I think the two straps hanging down made it worse. I’ve had regular Alexas in the past and always sold them. I should’ve trusted my prior experience. Looking for an Antony or Amberley instead now.
