The zip satchel in light taupe is reeeally pretty. I love that color in florentine. Such a lovely neutral. I don't have the bag but have a drawstring in that color I'd love a med flo satchel in it.
Wish some gems in nwt Brahmins would pop up too. Those prices...😳
I’ve been looking at the Brahmins. Beautiful bags. All the pretty colors. Is there particular style you like in the Brahmin?
I haven’t carried the cooper yet , but I originally wanted the chestnut so if it’s still there, then I guess it’s meant for me to have
I'm so out of my element with high-end luxury labels. But I came across a bag recently that I absolutely fell in love with. Mulberry Alexa satchel, and they come in all different sizes. I've seen a few on ThredUp, and they're asking $600+ for them. Imagine my sticker shock when I go to the actual Mulberry site, and see $1600 price tag.
I moved into a red (regular size) flo satchel at the beginning of the month. I snatched her off ThredUp, and cleaned her up with Leather CPR.I thinks what saves me money is my obsession with red bags. I've learned if I buy a a bag in another color, and it turns out I really love carrying it, I immediately start looking for it in red. I try not to buy a bag if I think I'm going to love it, if it's not red. It's a crazy obsession but it has saved me money in the long run. For example, I don't have multiples of the same style in different colors (unless I didn't buy it in red the first time.)
OMG this red color is gorgeous.
Yes, there's one I keep looking at, that is totally unneeded of course...& then I'd want to match a wallet of course. I keep hoping the urge will go away.

Isn't it!! Isn't it funny how small things like the love of color tells one's age. Coming of age in a particular decade - which shall go unnamed wink-wink - gave us a love of color.. ❤️. (NOT saying you are anywhere near my age.) I'm not old, just well-seasoned. 😁Beautiful!
I thought I might have this bag. Size wise, it's very similar in size to the small Flo satchel.... maybe a little bigger,
but based on the measurements I took, I'm not sure it's really much bigger.
Lighter weight because it doesn't have handles or belting.
I just checked, the bag has a 3 part strap, so it can go crossbody. Measurements
are 12" across the bottom, 5.5" deep, and when stuffed (without a smile) 10" high.
The base on mine is rounded, with a center seam. It doesn't have the rectangular
base. The bag is very soft and the light taupe is a lovely cool neutral color.

I have quite a few Brahmin handbags. I like their textured leathers (croco, snake, etc.) but
those leathers are nothing like Florentine leather. The patterns, trim detail, and variety
of Brahmin handbags is much like artwork.
Brahmin had one leather line that was like Florentine, it was called TopSail.
As for styles, I like satchels, Duxbury and Large Duxbury, Ruby, Vivian, and Elisa.
In the TopSail leather I have Raelyn Satchel and the Large Duxbury.

I really like the look of this bag. The light taupe color is soooooooooo beautiful. It’s Creamy and the leather on this bag looks so soft and luscious. I like the 3 part strap. I like the shape without the belting. There is a version of this called the hobo that looks like this but has the thin Buckley strap. I like the detachable strap that’s on this crossbody. There aren’t many of these in this condition up for sale. I think I’m going to pull the trigger and get it. This will be the most I have paid for a bag… it’s $299 and the main reason it’s been on my watchlist. I was hoping the price would go a little lower…
