Does this sound weird? potential buyer sent me a link to fake purse site??

Well, that was my first thought..the bait and switch thing...why else would she want you to confirm if the fake bag was looking the same as your authentic one? Or she wanted to give you the virus. OH....now I think of it my "buyer" also sent me a link to a french? site with fake bags (same buyer over night shipping etc) and wanted me to take a look at it to see if it was the same as mine!!!!!!!!!!! This MUST be the same person!

yeah, teh site is french fashion xxx, OMG! :cursing:

Thanks! I will do that:yes:

fortunately neither of us got scammed by this weirdo...that is a good thing since there are so many bad stories about ebay/scammers.

You see? This is why we need to follow our intuition, it rarely fails.

IMPORTANT INFO
A TROJAN HORSE, or Trojan, is an extremely harmful malware that shows up as a function you want to perform in your computer but that actually performS hidden malicious functions. It is a spyware-like worm whose purpose is to allow unauthorized access to your computer. It is strong and usually cannot be cleared by regular anti-virus programs. Pop-up screensaver offers, you've won this or that contests, credit report ads, classmates finders, almost every porn/sex site, and, yes, fake bag websites are among the many of sites that often come with a Trojan Horse. If you don't have a spyware protection program like Spyware Doctor (pctools.com), which includes real-time protection for everything, RUN to get one.
.

^^ ok, but first do we have to find out if its hijacked or a straight up scammer?

I actually contacted the person via ebay because when I googled what to do, that was one of the suggestions on the ebay community boards..
thanks!
