yep and no, you don't have to bring a receipt- assuming it's authentic they have no reason to deny a customer.

No need to show proof of purchase. I took a few used LV items (purchased from ebay) to the store and they heat stamped w/o questioning the origin of the bag.

Resale, yes. I won't buy a stamped bag unless it so happens to be my initials and the stamping is where I want it in the way I want it.
