Does anyone use Poshmark?

I purchased a set of 4 plates on Poshmark. One plate arrived with a significant chip on the edge. I contacted the seller (who had a total of 12 for sale). I asked if I could exchange the plate for a non-damaged one. She said no problem, but I would have to file a damaged item claim to cover shipping costs. I did. I sent photos of the damage and Poshmark asked me for photos of the box, shipping label and packing materials. I sent them even though I mentioned the damage was possibly there before shipping, as I didn’t see pieces in the box. Seller messaged me to say she needed to find a box to ship out replacement. Poshmark then said they would give me $10 in Poshmark credit if I kept the damaged plate and set.

I don’t really want PM credit. I don’t like that I can’t speak to a human to resolve a simple issue. And $10 does not get me toward a set of 4 undamaged plates.

Can I negotiate with PM for more credit so I can use that credit toward buying a set of 4 more plates from that seller? Or once they offer you $10, it’s take it or leave it?

Not sure what to do. Is there a way to speak to a PM representative in person? This messaging business does not work in a negotiation situation.

Is anybody else having issues with the Poshmark website versus the app? I see a number indicating several notifications under News on the website, but when I click on that, it says "No recent news. Time to get your shop on!" Whereas on the app I can see all the updates about purchases, price changes, etc.
Same thing happens when I try getting in PoshMark. I can access with IPhone or IPad but not with my new Mac :(

Is it normal for Posh to take a week to process my deposit? I never had this happen before. I usually receive it by next business day. I probably won't sell with posh again if it takes this long.
It hasn't happened to me. The last one I did was on January 16 and it was in my account on the 17th. I'm planning on doing another later this week, just waiting for everything to get released.

Has anyone participated in a show? Someone added my item to a show. The system asked me to set up a starting price for an auction and the length of time. I put that in but when my item was featured, it stayed as a buy it now. If there was something else I was supposed to do, I don't know it. No one bought anything in the entire show and I didn't see any auctions happen.

The delay started on the 24th of this month. Which unfortunately just happens to be the exact day I withdrew my money from Posh.

I checked their Poshmark support twitter and they are aware of the issue and are fixing asap. If you withdraw your funds this week, I imagine it will be delayed with all the money being held up within the past 6 days or so.

Just a vent re: Poshmark (as a buyer)
I have tried it a few times to attempt to purchase hard-to-find or very specific items from previous years (ie no longer in stock)

My pet peeves are
1) when the sellers do not respond to polite queries (assuming they are still active on Poshmark)

2) when I do purchase something at the stated price (I have never tried ask them for a lower price if I feel their asking price was already reasonable), and they don’t ship it out after I made the payment.
And they don’t reply to subsequent queries regarding ‘where is the item?’

Note: not all the sellers on Poshmark were like that above-mentioned.
Out of 5 experiences as a buyer, I had 2 out of 5 not responding/not shipping out the item.

eBay can be a mixed bag for many but as a buyer, I have had much better experiences with the sellers on eBay.

I mean no offense to any of the sellers here. Just my $0.02

I think the problem with Poshmark and Mercari and sites that operate the same way is that listings don't expire. The listings you tried to purchase may have been put up months ago and the seller either no longer has the item or has moved on from the selling site. If a seller doesn't respond to a message posted on the listing, that is a good indication that they won't be great about shipping either. However, sometimes I don't get messages about inquiries sent to my email so it is possible the seller can miss them.

Hi, it's all over Reddit, sellers are experiencing delays since last week as early as Jan 24-25th. Someone posted that Poshmark is rolling out a survey where they ask about withdrawal options and additional fees for usual deposit option. Looks like they want to implement additional fees, otherwise it'll take a week+. Of course all survey participants said no way, but they will do what they wanna do. remember Tradesy? first it was delayed payments, then pushed on returns. With this new Navar owner, Poshmark is going the same rabbit hole, I'm afraid. I already had BS cases opened for "odor" etc and returns were missing parts and worn. now this.

That is stupid. How greedy can Posh be? After this so-called delay (which I wonder if it's done intentionally or not), and now this survey asking for deposit fees, I am done with Posh.

I will stick with Mercari for now on, even though their shipping option is not as convenient as Posh is. But at least they won't charge me fees or delay MY money for a week+. Greedy!
