Does anyone that purchased the "Sac Louis" regret the purchase ?

Birkins are a dime a dozen, the SL is not- but to most, the SL would look like a fake if they didnt know better- i wasnt even in the market for an SL until i got the invite and now im trying to reason why to get it- but the Haute M does bring an interesting point- cuz one would still be able to customize a LV and have their name and everything-- so yeah, HELP!

In London the HM is by invitation only still so is still pretty exclusive. I would suggest going to have a look at the SL and also ask if they can show you the HM which irl are really lovely. Then take a bit of time to think about it - when I was invited to view the SL they were fine with me taking a few days to make up my mind as it was such a large investment. Which ever you go for I am sure you will love.

I did exactly the same. The narrow choice of colours put me off the Sac Louis in the end. Can't wait for my custom made haute maroquinnaire to arrive

I agree it looks just like the Coach sabrina bag, not worth the huge price tag.

Wowser... Say it like you mean it why don't you..!!! I'm just about to pick mine up and I'm a elderly 39... I think the op was asking people who own one to pipe in...! At so as I will be a owner I say GO FOR IT..! I have many birkins and the Sac Louis is way more special..!

Sac Louis is a very very special bag, and probably the almost last few bags u want from Lv, this mean that you probably love SL because of its understated bag, u appreciate the artworks and the uniqueness of your own bag.
If u want a bag that everyone know, this is not the type of bag! Even many SAs in Lv might not see this before!

HM bags and SL are both exclusive, although by invitation , HM is open to everyone and everyone who are interested can still walk in and make an appointment if the specialist SA not there or busy. Honestly it is not that exclusive, whereas SL is.

Although SL only have boring colour(at least to me), but the bag is so delicious (mine is yummy chocolate!) and I love mine! Easy shoulder bag but it feel a tag heavy on its own be because of the leather!

ha ha....It does look like an older Coach model, a friend of mine has it and was showing hers around. No one was honestly wow-ed by it after hearing how much she paid. The leather is very nice but the style looks dated and very dull.

Well said ladies! I love SL because of the buttery soft leather, understated bag with beautiful details and the workmanship is unbelievable. Granny bag? I will become granny someday anyway. SL will be with me for life and will be passed down to my daughter, my grand daughter. I know I carry a piece of art, I know it is LV and that's all matter to me. I also have many exotic LV bags as well as Birkin bags; SL, exotic, Birkin, each bag is beautiful and unique in each own way. I truly love my Chocolate Sac Louis and have never once regretted.

I am glad you like it, I have seen this bag in person and know someone right around your age that has this bag and I was not thrilled with it I am 29 and think that it looks very mature. I don't think there is anything wrong with people liking them but the OP asks for opinion's. I feel the same way about Birkin's plain and mature I never understood the hype. I don't know I guess it just shows that people have different styles. Maybe when I am 40 I will appreciate them more but for now I prefer a little more flare, edgy and youthful styles.

Random scuffs and pen marks all over? Or is the fine grain easier to maintain?
