Does anyone find it hard to use a non-designer bag after having designer bags...?

I like normal branded bags with normal price (not that expensive) because of good quality! I like non leather brand like guess, oilily, kipling! I like also leather brand like fossil and furla! The price is still normal, not that very expensive! I buy those in discount sale in malls! I love the most is my candy bag from furla brand, because rain, hot sunshine n snow will not break it, easy to take care of it rather than take care leather bag! Honestly i love louis vuiton brand, lv sully monocream white colour, but yeah toooo expensive for me, can not afford it now, maybe next time i buy if enough money i have. I must think twice though, because i already have many bags n no enough place for them now, everyday must wear different bags, so my bags will not just sleep n will not get broken in closet! I bought them with money, not fake monopoly money hahahaha sooo i trear them well

I find it hard to go back because my designer bags are much better quality and style. Also I have an issue with heavy bags and it's been my experience some non designer bags are made with heavy, thick leather and heavy hardware and are just too heavy.

I am a recent designer bag owner. I bought my first Coach bag in the summer of 2011. Now I have 5, and one Michael Kors on the way. I love my designer bags, but for trips to the zoo with my toddler, hikes with my husban in the park, field day with my 2nd graders, an old loved simple handbag works best. However, I'd never buy anymore non designer bags. I like the better quality of the designer bags.

No, there's no way. I have a Roxy teal bag and I love it, but it fits my sister's laid back style more than it fits me. So, I'm giving it to her.

Having high end bags means I've had to put more care into how I look. Not for other people, just for me. The quality of a high end bag is amazing. I'll be able to gift my bags to my daughters. They'll last a lifetime.

It's not having a status symbol on my shoulder, it's knowing I chose well and I always go for high quality items that last.

Yes, it's really difficult to carry a non-designer bag after owning & always carrying a designer bag. For this reason, I've given my mom and one of my girlfriend's all of my lower-end handbags that didn't sell on eBay.

Why keep or reinvest in what you don't use or have plans on using? Ive found that It creates more clutter for the things I'll actually use 😀

I luv bags. I will carry a bag for status or hell I want to wear it for a few hours. Nutts about pursonality. I message my appeal with my bags. Plus I like expensive bags but carry practical saks until I can upgrade.

I have worked my way up the handbag chain. Up until LV I had no problem using any bag that caught my eye.
Lack of quality in the last year or so pushed me to purchase my first, and now second LV and now I don't think I CAN go back.
No hanging threads, no spilled varnish. Straight straps. Lining is sized to fit bag.
I maybe spoiled for life....

Where I live, non-designer bags are not cheap at all and I find that it is more worth my money to spend a little more on quality brands. I supposed if I had more access to cheap non-designer bags of good quality I might be more inclined to get those!

Yes, it is hard to use non designer after you got a taste of a designer bag... Am wondering why and here are my thoughts...
- your fingers become trained to feel quality - the leather, the stitching, the hardware - and the touch of the non designer ones are just not the same
- the 'cut' of the bag - what I meat is how it sits on your shoulder, lay against your body, how it falls when you hold the handle - you know someone puts a lot of thinking into it because it just works like magic
- the way it makes you feel - I feel more confident, more stylish, more attractive... Just name any 'mores'
- and for the premium designer - there is an added feel that it never goes out of style - my Neverfull and Speedy are still as relevant as they were two years ago, I still got compliment on my Prada Saffiano double zip tote today as I got three years ago....

Thanks for reading - writing this in my long commute to work...

All excellent and true points.
I used to have no problem with any bag as long as it was nice looking and decently made.
Then I finally saved enough and met Mr. Vuitton.
Sold all the others.
