does anyone else get mistaken...

I'm also asian, already in my 30's and have a 1 and 2 yr old girls, my husband gets amused that everytime we get a some drinks at a restaurant, I always have to show my ID;). I guess when you really are older  its nice to look younger.:shame:
Oh! and last year we attended his high school reunion, his old classmates thought our kids were his grandaughters and me his daugther!  He's 12 years older than I am, but also looks much younger for his age:love:

bah ... alll you guys make me hate you! j/k I wish I got mistaken for younger all the time .. I am only 26 , but not normally do I get mistaken for younger, only once in a while when I am not wearing makeup ... in High school people would sometimes think I was a teacher .......::sigh:::crybaby:

LOL celesus! I'm also 26 and would LOVE to look younger! When I was 16 a clerk at my home town's store would always push the liquor and lotto tickets on me. I'd go in to buy gum or something and he'd be like "did you see 12 packs are...." or "don't forget the lotto's 20 million". I also was mistaken for a teacher in high school...I was dressed up for a marketing club event and this lost visitor (who was also a teen) said "excuse me ma'am..." I swear since I was 16 people have called me ma'am....even if I wasn't dressed up!!

i still get asked for ID whenever i buy cigarettes (yes, i know i know...) alcohol or enter the casino. i should be flattered, but im mostly annoyed. im 27 by the way.

I had a teacher in high school who had the opposite problem. One year on parents' night he was sitting in his classroom, and as the parents filed in they were talking about him like he wasn't there. Eventually he realized that they thought he was a student and the teacher hadn't arrived yet!

i'm also 27 and i get annoyed, too sometimes...especially if they think i'm much younger than i really am...

most of the time people think my 21 year old sister is older than me.

I got IDed for a rated R movie recently (and you only have to be 18) and I'm almost 26!! Doesn't bother me at all though....all the women in my family look young and age really well....so I'll appreciate it when I'm older!! Plus I'd rather look 8 years younger than 8 years older!!!
