Hi there ( forgive my late response )
The ink we will assume has been there for more than 48hrs …and has enough time to have migrated through the finish and into the leathers organic surface….
So even with an ink killer in the hands of a professional you will remove the orange original color in the process of removing the ink and or some of the stain from the ink will remain and in both cases a color touch up would be necessary to make it look it’s best.
It’s a great bag and I love the color !
I hope this helped ?
All the best ,doc
thank you!! it is a gorgeous color indeed

Hi there,
Those areas can certainly be made to look very good with some recolor touch up work. How’s the rest of the bag ?
mall the best ,doc
Thanks for your reply! The bag has some odd blotches on the body. Could this be some sort of mold issue or just worn out from heavy use? My main concern is if the bag can be restored and will patina nicely over time…

Hi there ,
I can not tell if you have mildew or mold from these photos , a sniff test could tell you . From the photos I see Lots of color loss , will need color restoration , some missing top skin that will need recolored ,resins need redone as well. In the right hands this could be greatly improved. I’d make sure whom ever you entrust it’s restoration is trusted and experienced.
it’s still a sweet boldie imo, and black box calf usually restores beautifully.
I hope this helped ?
All the best

Thanks Docride! Your knowledge helped me tremendously. I think I will sit on it a little more and ask the seller some more questions.

Hi Docride. What can I do with these scratches on my 1 y.o swift B25? I am so hesitant to carry it  Thank you. View attachment 5276999
Hi
A few scratches are inevitable with normal use …sometimes a quick wipe down with a small amount of a light conditioner lotion on a soft cloth can help them look less light in color … or just send to Hermes spa.
id say put your bag down
Step about 3 ft away a d look at the whole bag … how does it look over all ?
This is about as close as other people get to you when your carrying your bag ..
Sometimes it helps to take this perspective…?
All the best

Thanks for the tips and your perspective. It made my heart skip a beat when I first saw it and maybe my expectations were too unrealistic with this color and leather combo. It is such a cute bag, I just need to find a balance between enjoying it and babying it. ;-)

Merry Christmas!

Hi all,

Happy New Year! I hope you are doing well.

Months ago, my Kelly Depeches showed two thin marks I gently buffed with my finger. The marks disappeared. However, the rubbing on the leather made that parts shinier.

If you do not really focus, you cannot tell them. But, depending on the light, you can see the shining parts. You will see in the pictures the marks I am referring to.

Can this be corrected? I take care of my bags and I hate that shiny marks on my Kelly! I took the briefcase to my SA and she told me it is not noticeable at all, that after two years the bag looked like new and that is better to wait to take it to Paris.

I would be grateful to get your sincere feedback

Thank you!
