Do you wear a watch and what watch are you wearing?

great thread! i am wondering the same thing too :p

i have a Tag Heur watch which i bought it 10 years ago but i haven't been wearing it for years and it's a chore to maintain the watch cos it's quartz. i brought it recently for servicing again.

i have been obsessing over the jewellery thread on how the ladies here stack their jewellery & watches, contemplating whether to buy a cartier francaise tank but dropped the idea when i found out the smaller model ( i have small wrists) is also quartz.

i hesitate to buy another watch cos i find it a chore to maintain and bring it for servicing though i think it looks more dressed up to wear a watch? for me, i am fine with having my h/p to check for time so to me, a watch is purely for "aesthetic" reasons? :shrugs:

I also find maintenance a bit of a pain, which is one reason I never wore one before.

Seems like the stacking trend is doing good things for the watch industry!

I wear a watch daily, and feel naked if I do happen to be in a rush and forget to put it on. I love watches. To me, they're functional and have a purpose, but I also consider them to be an accessory (like jewelry).

I love watches...it's my husband who introduced to automatic watches and since then I have a lovely Rolex that I proudly wear everyday.

I cannot imagine not having a watch but I know many younger women who never thought of buying one. Maybe the influence of cell phones...?

I love watches. Always have. I prefer the plastic bracelets since they are more comfy than the metal. Sometimes the plastic still spins too much but I like them loose and would really like to see the face once in a while. Lol. I really want a rubber one for the summer since they have awesome reviews.

I love my juicy couture watch! I have to admit I'm not good at telling time in analog I'm more of a digital person, so the watch is more of a bracelet/accessory and I use my phone to tell time :)

Juicy makes great watches though, I'm looking for a gold watch to be my next purchase!

Yes, every day. I love watches.

When I showed my newest watch to Kid 2 a few months ago, she said "Mom, nobody under the age of 21 wears a watch. I'll never wear a watch." Fast forward a bit, I loaned her a cute older quartz watch since she needed to be able to carefully track time for a standardized test. She's worn it almost every day since and admits that, yes, it's nice to be able to casually tell time while in class without having to dive for her phone, plus it's great for test taking as she doesn't even have to look up at the clock on the wall. Ha!

Yes, every day. Like some of you have said, I feel naked without it if I am rushed and forget to put one on. Usually, it is either a Michele CSX or an Hermes Cape Cod. It's both functional and jewelery to me.

Yes! I have a rose gold marc Jacobs, silver Michael kors, tortoise Michael kors, and gold Michael kors. Something for everyday- plus I always put Atleast one bracelet with it for some arm candy!
