I wear my chanel premiere watch 24/7. It's ceramic with diamonds and its water resistant. Now the reason why I wear it 24/7 is because I tend to loose things, I wash my hands and forget my ring, I'm on the computer and forget bracelets, this is just too expensive too lose. Now the thing is, i was wondering if it could do any harm to my watch to sleep with it, shower with it etc...

I don't think it would harm it......Personally I can't sleep with any jewellery or watch on & the only piece I do keep on is my love bangle but if I could I'd remove it every night but I do have a friend who has worn his Rolex Submariner 24/7 for years & no problems at all so I can't see there being a problem.

I wouldn't wear the watch in the shower. Soap & water are exactly a watches friend and the fact that the seals on a watch break down over time (gaskets checked once a year, etc...).

The issue with the premiere is that it is water resistant to 3bar/30m/100f which isn't enough for swimming or showering, its only truly water resistant against the occasional splash.

I used to wear a watch all the time. First a tag watch that was then stolen. Then, a movado watch that broke. For almost two years, I haven't really worn a watch and was starting to plan on a new one. That's when I realized I'm not sure I really need one. So I am wondering do you wear a watch daily? I have been using my phone as a watch.

I used to wear one daily, more faithfully than any jewellry. Now I wear one occasionally like jewelry...depending on what I'm doing.
For actual time keeping I rely on my phone. (Less of a hassle when I change time zones too!)

Generally yes, although I did go through a period when I used my phone to tell the time (until recently I was never into watches). I do love my current watch (Tag Heuer Aquaracer) and wear it everyday.
