I have worn a watch daily since high school, except for brief hospitalizations. I feel that I'm missing something important if I start to leave home without it. I have my phone but it's not an essential item to me.
Yes! I recently started wearing one (an inexpensive Lorus, from the Seiko budget range) and actually I really like it as an accessory. I do have to admit that I still mostly check the time on my phone, oops!
Never used to wear one, but then my brother bought me a pretty nice one for Christmas so I wear that one pretty much everyday now. But it's more a jewelry thing than a time keeping thing. It's just pretty.
I never used to wear a watch until about 4 years ago when my husband (boyfriend at the time) bought me a citizen watch! Ever since I've worn a watch every day! He later upgraded me to a Tag and this year a white J12!
I used to never wear watches until two years ago when I had a watch obsessed friend show me her ways. She has every color for any outfit. My boyfriend bought me my first one, a simple black one and now I can't go any where without a watch. Collecting them is so much fun.
i wear them faithfully and also to sleep and only take them out to bathe, sports etc. Cartier Santos 100 and Tag Carrera. checking ur hp for the time is still different.
i have a Tag Heur watch which i bought it 10 years ago but i haven't been wearing it for years and it's a chore to maintain the watch cos it's quartz. i brought it recently for servicing again.
i have been obsessing over the jewellery thread on how the ladies here stack their jewellery & watches, contemplating whether to buy a cartier francaise tank but dropped the idea when i found out the smaller model ( i have small wrists) is also quartz.
i hesitate to buy another watch cos i find it a chore to maintain and bring it for servicing though i think it looks more dressed up to wear a watch? for me, i am fine with having my h/p to check for time so to me, a watch is purely for "aesthetic" reasons?
I didn't until a few years ago when I started my current job and started getting a discount off of some watches. I got a really basic Swatch for work and since then I've bought a few more, now I feel weird without one!
