Do you wear a watch and what watch are you wearing?

Every day. I have a Cartier Tank F two tone, a Tag Formula 1 black ceramic and a Tag Aquaracer with pink MOP dial and diamond markers.

I would feel naked without a watch, I need to know the time in my day.

I'm actually about to buy a beautiful Longines cocktail watch for evenings - I always feel slightly odd wearing a cocktail dress or gown and then pairing blingy earrings and a diamond bracelet with my current watches - they're either sporty or decidedly 'day' IMO.

I do not. Interestingly, I love to wear bracelets but I cannot stand a watch. I never wore one, and then my mother insisted when I was in high school that all "responsible" people wore a watch and I wore one daily for four years. The day I left for college I almost never wore a watch again. I do have several (fashion watches - no Rolex for this non-watch-wearer), but I still rarely wear them. I'd like to learn to enjoy wearing a watch because I wouldn't mind investing in a nice one, but I just don't feel comfortable in them.

Which Longines watch are u going to get? I like their designs - very simple yet elegant

I wear a watch whenever i leave the house. I find it more convenient checking the time on my wrist than digging thru my bag for my phone.

Have to admit though, i did not used to consider watches as jewellery in the past. They just seem so functional. these few years, however, i have come to realize how decorative a beautiful watch can be, so am starting to like them a lot more.

I'm buying it second hand from a very reputable watchmaker and dealer in Sydney. This is the link:

I've been a longtime admirer of the T&Co small Gemea with diamonds
http://www.tiffany.com/Shopping/Ite..._params=s+5-p+6-c+288141-r+-x+-n+6-ri+-ni+0-t+

but I can't really justify the price for a new one and I've never found one in the second hand market. The cocktail watch is a piece that would be getting only 'special occasion' wear. The Longines has a lovely vintage design and is a great price - it stands out a little from the crowd and suits the cocktail/dressy vibe I have been looking for :p

The Longines is lovely! I prefer it to the Tiffany one actually :smile1:. My mum has a vintage 18k Longines but unfortunately it is broken. I offered to get it repaired for her but she moved a few years back and now she cannot find the watch. She knows it is in the new house somewhere but she can't remember where she packed it. Hopefully it'll turn up one day and that it can be repaired.

Oh thanks! It's really good to hear another person's feedback on the Longines actually, because I have liked the Gemea for so long and I was not sure about the more vintage-design - could be a little old-fashioned :D But I think it's very elegant and definitely a dress watch - not in-between or 'day-to-night'.

I LOVE it! It looks vintage-y but in a good way. Not old fashioned and yes, def very dressy. Be sure to post pics when u get it :smile1:

Oh yes, I always wear a watch every day. My Mom passed along her two toned Rolex to me after she bought the gold one with a diamond bezel.

I wore that watch every day for years. Then recently she passed along her vintage Hamilton White Gold and Diamond one that she always wore when I was growing up. Its very special to me and I love wearing it.

My husband gave me a yellow gold diamond watch for my 40th birthday so I use her for special occasions or sometimes just for a pick me up.

Recently I bought a Louis Vuitton Lovely Cup in White with Diamond Markers and a Monogram white band. I've worn it every day since I got it.

Guess I just love watches. They're really jewelry to me.

I do but I still rely on my phone for time. I find it difficult to read analogue clocks and watches (I also have trouble differentiating between left and right but that's another story ).

Chunkylover, are you ambidexterous? I'm ambidexterous and have a hard time with left and right and every other truly ambideterous person I've spoken with has had the same issue. It's why my Dad won't ride with me, you have to give me directions long enough in advance for me to think it through. :D

I wear one of two watches every day. I have a black Chanel J12 and a white one, both 33mm with plain markers. Having both black and white covers all of my outfits, including formal outfits, although I'm thinking I might need the chromatic J12 33mm in the future. I never used to wear a watch (it strained my wrist....yes, weird) but instead of always checking my phone in the office or in meetings (which I find it looks a little disrespectful), I just wear a watch now. I feel weird without one on!

Here's the white 33mm on my wrist:

I wear a watch every day. Like most others here, I'd feel naked without it!" For the past few months I've been stuck on my Pandora watch with double wrap braided leather bracelet. Never got caught up in the Pandora bracelet craze, but love my watch! (Only 1 little charm that DH bought for me.)
