Do you use a purse hook in restaurants?

Is the Clipa the best bag hook? I used to have one of the wrap-around magnetic hooks but the problem with them is that they needed surface area to work. The Clipa seems a lot more versatile because it needs less space and can be worn on the person or bag.

But I have a bit of a dilemma if it's a crossbody. Usually strap is too long and will end up touching the floor if it hangs from a hook on a table instead of a chair...

Definitely use the purse hooks! I shudder every time I put my bag on the floor. It took me ages to get over putting my bags on the floor of a plane UGHHH yuck.

Yep [emoji106] I always use my hook it is amazing especially in places like Starbucks where the table and setting space is rather small and when you don’t have a extra chair to put it on . I have had my one clip for several years and it is still holding strong [emoji123] the best 8 bucks I ever spent

I would never put either a white bag or a Birkin on the floor. +1 for purse hooks!

I just can't handle the thought of my bags on the floor (and if you look closely enough at some of the surfaces you encounter on any given day ). My purse hook stays in whatever bag I am using at the time. Purse hooks FTW (clipa's are great).

I have a clipa that i have used for the last couple of yeas and have used the wrap around kind you mentioned here. I'm a weirdo and didn't like that the thinner bag hooks left indentations in my purse straps. The clipa is a little heftier and not as thin and I haven't had any indentation issues with it.

My purse is small, so I always put it in my lap. If it is a larger purse, you can invest in a purse hook, keep your purse in sight and by your side.

I used to bring a bag hook everytime but i lost it mainly because i'd rather place my bag on my lap or on tbe chair beside me. Most of the tables can't be hooked plus some of the restaurants offer bag's cover to put on tblhe floor

I travel with one in my bag just in case there is no extra chair to seat my bag on
as I am not in favor of putting my bag on the floor

I love these!! I’m going to get one too I’d rather whip out my own hook in a bar/restaurant than risk it. I’ve gotten several scratches on my Saint Laurent monogram from leaving it down on dirty bar tops

I have a purse hook I bought from Daiso, but almost never use it lol. I usually go out alone so wherever I sit, there’ll always be an extra chair for my bag. I also don’t carry big bags if I know I’ll be going to dodgy places. Usually I’ll just wear a crossbody and I won’t need to put it down since it’ll hang on my shoulder all the time till I get home!

Agree Clipas are great. I also keep a Bagnet with me - it is magnetic but it only works on metal of course. The Clipa is much more useful unless the bar or table counter is extra thick. I am surprised more people don’t use them.
