I like to wear a simple TPM that I can keep on my person during a flight. I also travel with a soft sided carry on rimowa weekender for Hermes leather and RTW purchases. (The weekender can zip shut over the handles of a 30 bolide or 28K and other purchases). For international flights, it can also go as a personal item if I don’t feel like checking. Sometimes, DH and I only use one weekender when we are traveling light. His sac a depeches 21 has plenty of room for travel stuff.

@880 do you only consider crossbody bags for travels or would you shoulder bags? (i.e. Trims) TIA,

Hey, @calicocat
I own a few trims, and occasionally wear short shoulder.* But the size 31 looks oddly dated on me, so I moved up to the 35 Trim II. (I’m still looking for the perfect trim I. I use the 35 one as a rain bag bc my umbrella fits and water seems to just fall off it. If I need to carry more, I move to a Victoria.

But, for travel, I do prefer crossbody bc I wear the bag in front of my body. The shirt shoulder also seems to slip off my shoulder (I don’t have a trim with the suede strip underneath the strap)

If I need to carry more, I try to borrow DHs sac a depeches 21, which can stay on the body even when sitting. I also love the navy feutre TPM bc I often wear navy, and it disappears into my clothes.

But, to be honest, my favorite travel bag is an off white mini Loewe puzzle bc I can also wear it handheld at night for a dressier look.

Sorry for the novel lol

* I will eventually get around to asking duret or another belt maker to create. Belt extender so I can wear the trim Long crossbody

Thoughts on a togo Kelly 25 as the only bag on a trip to London? My other option is a mini Constance in epsom. I used to travel with my Jypsiere 31 but realized the last trip that I hate it for travel (and sold it).

It's a good idea. k25 can fit all the essentials, including a small bottle of mineral water. You can also get a longer strap to do a crossbody if you like.

Thank you! I was also thinking about getting another strap for crossbody.
K25 Togo is just perfect for London!

I also travelled with mine and always enjoyed the light weight and the cross-body option. (I just use a small strap prolongator to be more flexible so that I can change quickly from cross-body and over one shoulder with perfect length for both options)

I considered getting a jypsiere for travel but found it too heavy. I would love to travel with a Kelly however the only problem is there no easy access for my phone. Curious if anyone has some interesting solutions since my phone is in my hands half the time.

I recently traveled to NYC with my K28 and followed the recommendation of another tPFer @880 to do up the sangles first and then the flap. I can easily unclasp the flap and slip my hand in the grab my phone in the front interior pocket or my Calvi in the other pocket.
