I would love to know what brand/model of tote bag you’re using too!!
At the recommendation of someone on this thread, I purchased the just in case tote from Tumi. I used it during my recent trip to Paris for five weeks...on the way there, it contained my B25 inside a B30 with plenty of additional space and slipped over the handle of my hard case roll on. On my return trip it also accommodated my K28 in addition to the Bs. They were all well-protected! And the tote folds up into a small zippered bag...just in case!

Returning from a lovely Paris holiday. Traveled with Lindy 30 Etoupe as well as an unexpected
purchase in Paris a Sunrise Bolide.
The Lindy turned out to be the best bag that I have traveled with in a long time. I usually travel with my
Kelly but chose to carry the Lindy instead as well as the Bolide. The Lindy was under the radar, versatile
worked during the day wherever I went & felt very secure.
So those who might be in the fence about the Lindy, it is a workhorse travel bag.
The Bolide was also perfect for the evening.
I’m so glad you had a wonderful holiday! Congrats on the Sunrise Bolide in this anniversary year ! And, thank you for the info on the lindy

One other nesting recommendation for travel (which, if I recall correctly, I actually got from GPS on YouTube - I think he is a member here too?) is the MZ Wallace padded tote. I really like that the padding provides just a little extra protection. It’s super lightweight and easily carries a b30. I’ve carried my b35 in it but it won’t zip all the way

So, to answer the thread: yes I have traveled with my b35 but honestly it’s just really heavy when loaded up with stuff and other bags are just more practical. I took my b30 on a weekend trip earlier this year and I realized I’m rougher on my bags on vacation (in and out a lot, bumping into things) so I probably will use other more practical bags for travel going forward

@880, carrying the Lindy turned out to be the perfect travel bag for me walking around Paris.
It held what I needed & I felt very comfortable & secure & that was important to me
& the Bolide offered a refreshing evening change in addition to my Kelly & being a Kelly gal
for so many years, both the Lindy & Bolide were extremely "serviceable"

I’m using the just in case tote for my b30 today for an overseas trip and am loving it!

Would love to see some pictures if you happen to have some!

I also use this tote when I travel, even if I'm not carry in a luxury bag inside, and don't know how I lived without it! It fits so much expanded but is so lightweight and folds down to nothing. Highly recommend.

I call it my "holiday overflow" bag as I try to only use it on the inbound journey to accommodate extra purchases/souvenirs that I somehow acquire while traveling!

I use a bag by Lo & Sons called the Catalina. It has a bottom compartment that's meant to hold shoes or gym clothes, but I use it either for my laptop or my toiletries bag (if you put a laptop there, obviously no slamming the bag down!). It has a trolley sleeve on the back and comes in two sizes. I think I have the smaller with me right now and in it is a Bolide 30 with a Kelly 25 inside. I can't zip the top fully but it's fine. The larger size will hold a B35. I loooooooooove this bag and have it in two sizes and a couple colors!
Beis also makes one similar with more structure.
Thank you - appreciate the intel!
