Do you travel with your H bag?

That would mean carrying two bags o. Board the plane. doubt I can't fit a longchamp le pliage into my C18
I would leave the C18 in the Longchamp the entire flight.

Even Economy class of non discounter airlines allows for one carry on + a "personal item" (handbag), which must be able to fit under the seat. Which a Longchamp or Goyard does.

I usually travel with a carry on and Goyard St Louis GM, where I put my Birkin 35 (or 40) or Kelly 32 (inside their dust bag). Things I need constantly like my phone or passport are inside the St Louis, but not inside the H bag for easy access.

Thanks for sharing. I’m contemplating getting a Constance now. May I know the size of yours? It’s beautiful!
It’s C24. By far one of the most useful bag that I have (to me at least). Even my DH says that I use it a lot more than my Birkin or other Hermes bag. It’s my everyday bag basically.

If I have to choose between C 24 or K or B, I’d def go for C 24. I’ve been traveling with it and throwing it around quite often and it’s still in a great condition/shape. I told my SA that if any offers coming my way, I don’t need my QB yet. I’d rather get the C24 in any color please lol

Again, it’s my personal preference.:nuts: Not sure if everyone would agree.

Wow thanks for taking time to reply. I’m definitely sold on this.

Just wondering, I would love to bring my C18 on board a plane but what do I do when it goes through the "x-ray" for bags? I am half thinking of just getting a plastic bag to cover with it for that duration. Any ideas?
Are you worried about someone taking the bag on the other side? Otherwise I would just put it on the belt or in a container it should be fine. My birkin had to undergo further inspection and they were pulling handles and digging through it, I was dying :D

+1 on Longchamp to hold bag(s) plus inflight essentials (iPad, etc.) They are nearly indestructible and command almost zero attention.

My personal favorite is the expandable travel version.
I love that travel version but I've never tried to use it as my 'personal item' along with my carryon. Do you think that plan would fly? I mean I'm a big bag girl but I sorta feel like that's pushing it, and I like to fly UTR with no drama when I'm traveling....

Omg! I am more worried about it going through the conveyor belt to be honest

yes totally fine. I've even used an LV duffel as my "personal item" on top of my rolly suitcase with no issues. (Just don't carry another crossbody bag on top of that; tuck it into your duffle/longchamp/giant goyard bag as everyone has been suggesting)

If it's zipped (not expanded) it fits as a personal item. My typical approach is zipped, purse inside (anywhere from J28 to K35, or more frequently Halzan 31), also along with a bunch of other stuff I might need.

And I always carry an extra in my luggage - if I do carryon-only on the way over, I can check the spinner on the way back and substitute an expanded LC full of goodies for overhead.

(Someday LC will figure out that adding a "sleeve" to fit over a spinner handle is a no-brainer. In the meantime DH and I use luggage "bras" to keep the LCs secure on top of the suitcases.)
