Do you travel with your H bag?

I love NYC and love your bag. I was there 2.5 weeks ago and purchased an Evelyn TPM in Noir. I wore it that afternoon and for the rest of my stay. I will definitely travel with that bag.
Thank you. I love the Evelyne too. I think it’s one of the most practical bag I have. I take it every day. (TPM or PM). Congrats on your black one!

I haven't yet travelled with my B35, although I would love to. Bringing it to Singapore is a no-go unfortunately, due to nosy and intrusive relatives, which is a damn shame, because I think it would have worked well there.

Also, on the basis that I only ever travel economy, I am so nervous about having to squish it under the seat in front of me.

I am planning to make a trip to Dubai soon, and I am definitely keen on taking the Birkin with me then. I think the plan would be to store it on its back in the dustbag at the bottom of my cabin bag, surrounded by soft clothing so that it doesn't get knocked about when I have to put the cabin bag in the overhead compartment, while using my Book Tote as my under-seat bag.

I did buy a great packable waterproof bag for the purpose of inclement weather, but I think it could be a great solution for those who want to carry their B35s in the cabin but wanted to protect it when going through security and storing the bag under the seat, if you're not too concerned about fitting it under the seat.

I can't praise them enough. They are big enough to fit B35s including the handles, and tiny once packed. I also use it to put the bag in if I'm travelling on crowded public transport.

It looks like a vertcypress to me. Isn't it?

For those who travel with their B35s, does it fit under the airplane seat in front of you in Economy? I'm just worried about squishing it if I don't store it in the rolling cabin bag instead.
I wouldn't try it, it's so tight especially with the airline entertainment box taking up extra space. Would do the cabin bag.
I bring my B35 all the time on the plane. It won’t be squished but the handles will have to flop over. It doesn’t bother me to have the bag like that and after we takeoff or land I pull it out.

I tried it but realized that I still prefer to bring my old LV canvas. It's light to carry and spacious. While I take care of my things, I don't baby them at all---especially that it isn't new..and I know that it isn't hard to clean.
I also don't like the feeling of waiting for it at the other end---when I put my H bags in my carry-on and put it thru the conveyor belt for security in airports. The couple of seconds wait seems to be forever! I have heard of stories that their prized possession have "disappeared" there too.....and that definitely doesn't help. Also, someone I know who worked for an airline told me that if airport security/law enforcement decides they want to confiscate your item for whatever reason for testing, "open up" your leather bag and poke holes on it using a box cutter, and destroy it because they suspect something illegal might be hidden there or for whatever reason they might think about, they can do so. In her case there was nothing found but they were beefing up security in that place and were being really strict so they were doing things like that.....but can you imagine if they did that to your H bag?! They found nothing and said it was part of their checks.....but they cut it into small pieces! Good thing with her it was just a regular bag.
