Any suggestion on H bag bringing for a trip to Bangkok?

Which bags are you considering? Is your question about practicality or safety? If it is about safety, you can rest assured that there are plenty of people here wearing Hermes without any issues or the slightest concern. If it is about practicality, then I will say Kelly is a good choice or Bolide over a Birkin. The reason I say this is that the sidewalks are packed as is the sky train and it helps to be hands free.

Have a great trip!

I'm thinking about an Evie and/or a Constance. Would prefer hands-free[emoji846]

Those are good choices. Evie for daytime sightseeing and Constance for dining out and shopping. I see tourists with Evies all the time. Oh, bring an umbrella. Rainy season started early and is underway in full force. [emoji167]

hi all, i am going to Prague next week and am planning to travel with my Lindy 34. i heard there are lots of pickpockets and theft cases especially in popular tourist area, so i am concerning if my Lindy will create attention from these bag guys. any experience or idea? thanks.

Hi, I don't own a Lindy but I've spent several days in Prague last year. I never had a problem, but I always carried my bag in front of me and kept it zipped. I made sure my valuables (phone, wallet) were zipped up in the interior pockets. I'm aware of my surroundings, don't walk around in headphones, if I'm distracted talking to someone I make sure my bag is in my line of sight. I've traveled to different places of varying levels of security with different kinds of bags, and these principles have always worked for me - I've never been pickpocketed.

My Brazil Bandhini turned me into a Smurf just the other day! There is a note with the scarf that it may not be colorfast
Mine too! It turned my hands blue from tying a friendship knot. I had since sent it back to H to be cleaned and it fixed the problem. My store ended up not charging me for the cleaning, which made lots of good business sense. Hope this helps.

Are you worried about your Lindy being recognised as expensive itself, or you are worried your Lindy is not secure enough? If the former, I doubt average people in Prague will recognise a low key Hermes bag. And if the latter, my understanding is that Lindy is quite secure. It has a zipper and a turn key. If you keep them closed and be vigilant, you should be fine.

thanks xiangxiang0731, my concern is whether Lindy will be recognized as expensive bag. it is because in the city where i am living in (or maybe in my social circle) Lindy is known as expensive bag. i hope this is still a low key bag in eastern europe and won't grab too much attention. i thought about bringing other bag but still my Lindy 34 is my best travel mate among the bags i have. thanks again.

In my experience of travelling to places with safety concerns and pickpockets am more in favour of bags with good locks and cross body . Was recently in a 3rd world country with high level of theft I had my C18 in black sombrero cross body and wore it with the H facing inward and did great ! I travel with my H everywhere varies from H to K to C depending on leisure to business

I used my Lindy 30 the last time I traveled to Prague and had no problems with it. Lindy is really under the radar and by default, it is my travel bag. I think Hermes bags in general are under the radar. It is also very secure that you can close it and lock it.
