I would worry about the b35's corners bumping into people or things, and corner wear shows really really fast on Epsom. I took my k32 Epsom on a trip and one of the corners were already 'peeled' literally, and It's kiwi- not happy!

I agree with this. I took my Epsom Evelyne and the button peeled! Ridiculous
Now I know better and wear the H out!!

O that's terrible. Sorry to hear and thanks for sharing experienced

Yeah that's why I prob need a Togo B35 for this purpose ... Still waiting...

Absolutely I do! and I use a technique I call #nestingbags :happydance:

I used to do this too, but I recommend keeping the bags in their dust bag. Sometimes the officer at the airport security checkpoint will take the bag out of the bigger bag and place it in a separate bin, without asking for the owner's permission or at least placing a napkin/cloth or something underneath. Imagine watching your lambskin Chanel bag being treated that way, which happened to me recently. I almost fainted LOL.

I always put my bags in the dustbag to go through security and when placing under the seat. I just returned from Dubai last week. I took my B35 and there were no problems. I leave for NYC on Thursday and she'll be going with me again.

Hi ********, I saw your post about packing your Birkin and Jypserie boxes from FSH. Did the Jypserie box not fit into the B35 box?
It certainly would have fit, however I chose to keep the Jypsiere in it's box in my carry on... and carry the new B in the new Goyard! I checked the B box into my suitcase as your must have read :)

very good point! I did have the B in the Goyard tote, but would certainly be horrified...thanks for sharing!

Recently, I travelled with this set to Europe, Japan, Malaysia & Hong Kong . Really carefree as these grey/black purses match most outfits, weather well and are under the radar.

I live in Malaysia (moved back 3 years ago) and H bags are very under the radar (despite the outrage over our embattled PM's wife's collection of Birkins). When I first moved back, my dad would get so paranoid about me just leaving my cellphone on the table while we were eating out.

I've never been pickpocketed (knock wood) but you're more likely to encounter con artists asking you for donations at local eateries (and strangely, bookstores). I'm not saying this as an owner of Hermes bags or accessories. You could carry an H & M bag and you'd still be targeted. They can be counted on to pop out of nowhere when you're alone but sometimes they get more daring and try with your party of three.

Snatch thieves on bikes on the other hand... There was this woman who was just leaving the mall. It was all caught on CCTV. There were security guards and parking attendants nearby. The snatch thief was on his bike and pretended to be checking his phone. Once he spotted her, it was pretty quick. She got dragged on the floor in the process but seemed unharmed mostly. The thief got away with her bag (more than likely never to be caught, unfortunately). The poor woman was lucky. There have been a few cases where the victim died from their injuries being dragged like that (including a pregnant woman years ago, may she rest in peace  ).

It really doesn't matter where you are if you're unaware of your surroundings and don't take precautions. Personally, if I'm outdoors crossing streets, taking in the sights (i.e. Distracted tourist), it'll have to be a crossbody option.

Anyone here carry pepper spray? I need to buy another one because I lost my old one.
