Mines a b30, it wont zip up but its enough to protect I while going through security and in the plane.
Ditto except I have a L30. I literally just got off a plane and my Lindy is still in my LC now as we speak!
I bought the Kipling tote bag for traveling with my B35 & B30. I like it for the fact that it has two pull zippers, expandable and it can totally conceal my entire Black B30

Smart idea! I find security checks super damaging to my bags so I pack them in my suitcase. Why don't I get such a great coverage bag?
tonkamama What a find! What I really like about the Kipling you found is that it has the sleeve to fit over the handle. I am so tired of my tote getting unbalanced and falling in front or back of my carry-on Rimowa when I am wheeling it. I also place my handbag inside of it along with other things. Much safer!

Yes it is a great coverage tote.
I travel mostly alone on the airplane and don't check in my "accessories" (and I am afraid to crush my B30 inside my carry-on trolley). Therefore I find a tote bag that I can zip up all the way will provide additional security when I am on the airplane. It has outer zip pocket for keeping my passport, eyeglasses and few make up stuff in it so there will be minimum to no exposure of my B30 at all time.

Exactly. I don't even take out my bag at the rental car counter. I don't need to impress anyone at the airport

I have been looking for a tote like this for a few years but could never find one that could close on top of the B handles. Now I know what to get and I'm so glad

Yes the point is no need to show the Birkin while traveling. Every time I feel the airport/train station to crowded and unsafe I will pull out a huge paper supermarket bag and conceal my bags in it. LOL

Thanks for sharing this great idea. I use Longchamp Planetes tote but good to have a larger option available and especially like the ability to slide on carry-on handle. Does it fit easily under the seat on the plane?

The H bag I am going to take with me is a black B30 (pls refer to above pictures).
For my B35, the handles show little but since the tote has two zipper pulls, thus I am able to zip all the way to the middle point where the handles are. .. So the top of the tote is still secure... Will take a pic later. Most other options I read only has one zipper and I prefer two zippers for this reason.
Moirai ~ I am going to take my B30 with me soon. I read from this thread that a size 30 can easily fit under the seat so I don't see any problem. If I ever take my B35, I will probably leave it on the overhead cabinet bin temporary until the plane take off, then I will take it down and place next to my feet.
