Do you travel with your H bag?

I’ve read sooooo far back in this thread but I feel like travel has changed so much post Covid. (Like gate checking bags because the overhead bins fill up happens every flight now and I don’t remember that being so common before).

Anyway. I don’t want to leave the new baby home but I’m a little unsure about taking it to Europe this summer. All the videos of people smushing onto subways in Rome has me panicked about people bumping and scratching my bag 😂. Not worried about pickpockets, I grew up in Europe and I just pay attention. But I’m a little worried about crime in general which seems more intense nowadays. Also. Where do you put a bag when you’re eating? In a tiny restaurant in Paris where does the k25 go?

Help! My kids will be so disappointed if I leave the k at home. The two of them - three of us going to Europe together - are more excited about the bag than I am I think. 😝

I just spent three weeks in Europe with my K28…it was FINE! I carry a purse hook for tiny tables at restaurants and otherwise just kept it close. No issues! You should totally take your Kelly if you want.
Oh and I had it in my carry on bag on the way but just carried separately on the way home.

I went to Turkey few weeks back and took my birkin 30 with me on travel and around .I put it I a ordinary cloth shoulder bag ,it was camouflaged as well as safe and easy to carry-on shoulder when around touristy places .

I have done this too. Carry an ordinary cloth tote to put it into in crowded or sketchy places.
This is such a good idea! Thanks 😀

@Letter - I have traveled with K35, J28, and Bolide 30. The J is best for transit, hands free, and ease of use on the go IMO.

The one and only time I ever, anywhere, put my bag on the floor (a K between my feet at a small cafe table in a St. Germain bistro) my fur baby (who was on my lap so no room there for the bag) barfed on it. It worked out OK but lesson learned! A purse hook is essential.

Oh lord! That would freak me out! Must find the purse hook I bought ten years ago and literally never ever used.

Anyone have links to cute ones that are for sale now? Less jewel encrusted - more simple would be my style.
