While I do not own a lot of Chanel (actually barely any), I can relate to that sentiment.
After I got my CF, I was stuck in a bit of a rut. I always kept on comparing bags to my CF.
I questioned the bags on my wishlist (or the next one that interested me), if they were "good enough"; if they were "as good as" or "better", than a CF. Was it "worth it" compared to my CF or getting another Chanel bag?
I was also a little tied down to a bag's resale value and, like most, am not happy when a bag depreciates quickly after purchase.
So it was hard for me to buy a bag after getting my CF.
But it was my husband who told me to stop limiting myself and just buy bags that make me happy (and he's a terrible enabler during shopping lol.) Tbh, he finds Chanel bag quite boring and old-fashioned, lol.
He said, a bag is a bag at the end of the day. Enjoy when you have it; when you fall out of love with it, sell it, and move on to the next bag that you fall in love with.
