I don't wear them often (I also don't go out often and my jewellery is on rotation), so they look brand new still.I recently fell in love with the hardware earrings in silver! Do you mind aharing how they are holding up?

Same! Im just hesistating because i rotate my jewelry and i dont mix metals.. so i am not sure if i will get good use out of them. However after almost 9 mths.. i still cant get the design out of my head.. just that i dont like this design in YG anymore. i sort of wished they have it in white gold. But then that would bring up the price a lot.I don't wear them often (I also don't go out often and my jewellery is on rotation), so they look brand new still.
The price in gold is much higher, too much more for me to lay out to be honest. It is a lovely design, which I feel leans trendy. That said, I do have a few pieces in RG which I purchased in 2020. Though the price of this in gold is only a little over double the price in silver. I think its v v v overpriced in silver!
How do u store or care for you sterling silver pieces?
I am also late bloomer, i got my first Hermes silver piece 2 years ago? I fell out of love quickly but am now leaning back to silver atm.. i was always all about YG or WG!The price in gold is much higher, too much more for me to lay out to be honest. Hence I purchased the earrings in silver last year. My first ever silver purchase (late bloomer that I am).
I store my silver in the tiffany pouches in a plastic zip lock bag. Waiting for some Wolf jewellery cases to come back in stock at my local department store before ordering.
Which earrings are you wanting? The regular or extra large?
Interesting, assuming you're in the US. The gold earrings here in AUD are in the 5 figures. Still more after conversion from your USD.I am also late bloomer, i got my first Hermes silver piece 2 years ago? I agree the price makes me retch a bit. And yes, its a trendy piece so i didnt feel like spending $5650 on a trendy piece. Now it is $6200. After just 6 months. Thats the YG regular piece. The silver is $2650 now. Initially i was thinking thats crazy. But now, i feel like I just really like the design.. ugh.. you made a good call getting the silver last year!

The price increases just make us (or at least me) consider my purchases more and buy what I really want and love.
I never used to mix metal but I do now. However I still need some kind of coordination (in my mind anyway). I won't wear silver alongside platinum or wg (plated or unplated) as the hue difference is obvious... To me.
On the ears, no problem!

Oh, my apologies for making wrong assumptions, on both country and size. I was comparing the wrong size price. I love Singapore, lived there for a few years when I was a teen and still have many friends there.Actually i am not in the US.. hmm. I am in Singapore, our prices should be near? I am referring to the regular sizes. Yes same here, i feel the luxury price increases have been too exorbitant. In fact, i am looking back at the price i paid for some of the diamond pieces and wondering how did i pull the trigger then.. hahahah. I guess my mindset has shifted compared to 2-3 years ago. Which is good for my wallet!
Ooh love your clash ring! In fact i was contemplating it but i think my dress sense is a bit too "girly" as i like to wear summer floral dresses usually. In fact i also wonder if hardware earrings will suit my wardrobe.. only on days where i wear solid color clothes i feel..
We have similiar tastes it seems! I didnt like to mix Silver with WG due to the different hues but i since realised WG across brands alrdy have different hues.. lol. Earrings are more detached from the fingers/wrists so now i am actually back into silver earrings thats why.

Thank you. Don't worry if something doesn't match/suit your wardrobe. I feel it just needs to match a few pieces. I choose what I wear jewellery wise, depending on how I feel, what clothes I'm wearing and what bag I'm carrying.
As for you hankering after the silver hardwear, as I've discussed with some friends, the wide consensus seems to be that silver looks best in the design. Though... I would never turn my nose up for gold!
Considering a hardwear necklace in silver next.
Thanks for sharing this... i wss honestly terrified of luxury silver pieces. Just thought they are not worth the money or hassle.. how do you store it?I have the hardwear necklace in silver. I got it at the time as a placeholder until I got the gold because the one I really wanted was the gold.. But I ended up loving it. It’s lovely, really bright. It hasn’t tarnished in the last 7 months or so since I got it. I occasionally take it to Tiffany’s to have it cleaned. I got the hardwear earrings in gold as it suits my skin better but I wouldn’t mind the silver either!
Just in its pouch to reduce exposure to light. Thanks for sharing this... i wss honestly terrified of luxury silver pieces. Just thought they are not worth the money or hassle.. how do you store it?
