I definitely vote for Hop (Small)! Yes initially I was concerned about the opening after I bought it and feel strange that the opening didn’t feel as small / tight as I tried in the store. Nonetheless, I decided to keep it and started carrying it this week! Absolutely love it. Classy timeless design. Jodie feels abit dated and kiddish for me due to the knot… and feels more causal. Go for the Hop… u won’t regret it

Yes for me. Or rather I should say the knot feel very seasonal and not something that can transcends over time… while Hop has a simple timeless look. I guess just different taste n views

For me, the Hop ages the wearer, and the profile from the front is too flat for my liking. The Jodie feels younger and has more puff to it and I've worn the mini on formal and casual occasions, it pairs well.

I have the large hop in smooth leather, so far, I've not seen corner wear. I've definitely bumped into many stuff, people etc. I am still surprised I have not seen scratches on it though, but it does vein.

Hop I am not a fan of the rectangle shape especially when it’s on the shoulder. Must admit pictures of ppl holding small Hop on hand are very nice but not good enough for me to purchase one. For anyone thinks that Jodie is out and Hop is in and timeless, sorry but everything in fashion will be dated and come back like a circle, I only choose things my heart desires

Definitely the Jodie! The knot help to hold the bag on the shoulder and the rounded shape age perfectly, the more the bag get old the more become softer and relaxed. Hop is more rigid in the look and also the feeling, with age it does not take the nice relaxed shape of the Jodie
I just got my first Jodie (teen size) after thinking about it for a while and it's okay, but I definitely prefer the hop (have the original small size and large). I prefer the ease of the magnet closure vs a zipper, and I like the fact that there's an interior zippered pouch along one of the sides of the interior whereas the jodie is just one big compartment.
Well the magnet is there physically, but wont do much
But in crowded places, no one can get under my arms.
