Do You Prefer Size 30 or 35 Birkin?

I love both sizes and have both sizes...35 in Gold Clemence w/GHW...30 in Black Fjord w/SHW. I have carried the 30 most though because it's lighter. Though I have not carried either of them much lately.

I agree. I do prefer the 35, and feel that the 35 is the size the bag was "meant" to be (I believe it to be the original JB size) but it's too beautiful a shape to have in just one size.

I am maybe 5'2" on a tall day, about 96 pounds, and I carry a 35 just fine, so I think it's more about whether your style works with a bigger bag. If you wear dainty clothes and are small, a 35B is going to look off. I don't wear a 35 with sweet little dresses. On the other hand, jeans-boots-t-shirts to me this calls for the nonchalance of a 35, a bag that can carry the necessities and is in no way "cute".

I like the 30 for an alternative when the 35 feels so heavy and you don't need to carry as much.

My 35 cm is nice for travelling, for my daily life I always prefer to grab any of my 25B's. They are the perfect size for me and my needs.

Hi Everyone,
I couldn't find a thread similiar to this, but if there is one I apologize in advance.
I currently own two Birkin's 35 and I love them dearly but I do think they a bit big and heavy for what I carry on a daily basis. For those of you that own both which one do you use the most and why?

I have both and I love both. Hoping for a 25 next! It seems like the 30 is better for me for the summer/warmer months, and the 35 for the colder weather.

Personally I think the best world is to have both sizes. For reference I am 5'7" on the slender side and I love both sizes on me. Proportionally my favorite looks will be....B35 for fall & winter (cashmere, leather jacket, killer boots) and B30 for spring and summer (cute fitted top, skinny jeans, sexy sandals).

Regards to weight, I find that my B30 is much lighter compares with B35! Since I don't carry much so the weight of B35 does not bother me at all.

I have both sizes. As mentioned by other members my 35 is used for traveling and in the fall and winter seasons. Because she is black, she looks smaller. I am petite so a 35 in a lighter and bright colour will not work for me. I do love my 35. Equally I love my 30. She works great as well and works for my body frame. She is a red colour and is the perfect size. I don't travel with her but she is used often. I have a preference for big bags so a 25 will be hard for me to own but in the world of H, I have learned not to say use the word 'never.'
