I have a pink quilted fitted jacket. I got it in a L and should have gotten in in an XL. I have had it for a couple of years....I think i have only worn it three times cause it's tight around my chest. It sucks gaining weight!

Hi All,

I want to buy one of these for my mother, but my concern is that her chest size might be too big. She's a larger lady, about a size 14-16. Anyone have any idea if the XL will fit?

This probably doesn't help you too much, but it really depends on the style of the jacket. The constance runs true to size while some of the shorter quilted jackets run small. I have a constance in Medium and an Eastmore in L and maybe could have gone up to XL.

I tried this one on in petite XS at nordies the other day and it was slightly too big, so I ended up not getting it.:crybaby::crybaby: I think its gorg and I love the silver buttons.

Sorry to hear that  I'm on the other end of the spectrum. I'm getting a very similar jacket for Christmas (below) and hope it's not too small. I was tempted to open the box it came in to try it on, but I decided to be good and wait until Christmas.

I just got the black Constance jacket at the Southpark store with the lining that can be removed (it snaps in) making it nice and warm for now in North Carolina, but it's still your beautiful plaid-lined Constance coat for the rest of the year. I got it in a small (last one). It's on sale right now (with the lining) on-line at the Burberry website for only $419.00. What a buy! The Constance jacket unlined is on-sale in the stores right now too, but I really wanted the lining. It's a gorgeous black fleece lining that kept me toasty warm this morning. Try to snag one with a lining. It's the best of both worlds and you can wear it pretty much year round (unless you live in Michigan or something - ha ha!).

what is the name of this belted quilted style? luv it~
it looks fabulous on you!!!

I'm surprised nobody mentioned getting a quilted jacket during the Nordstrom anniversary sale. I called a couple days before the sale to see what they still had in a small. They had red, blue, black, and gray. I am not a red or blue person. Being 28 with black hair, I thought the black was a little safe and even a little mature. Even though I hadn't seen it, the SA recommended the gray as being something different. I trusted her judgement and preordered the gray. Here are some pics. I loved it when I saw it in the store, but now I am worried that I look like the Tin Man from Oz. Please tell me I am crazy. Should I hold out for another color? I don't even know what other color I would prefer. Here is a picture w/o flash and with flash.
