Do you own a Burberry Quilted jacket?

Just ordered this quilted Burberry from Saks online. It was $357 from $595 which I think is still a lot for a jacket :sweatdrop: but I have been searching for one on sale for over a year now. Plus I already have a red Calvin Klein quilted jacket that I got on sale for $30 so we'll have to see how I feel about it once it arrives.

Ok...I now have 4 quilted jackets!
1. A black constance, but not with the novacheck lining. The lining is like a glittery black/silver/white!
2. A red constance with a detachable warmer.
3. A pink constance with the newer novacheck lining.
4. I now just got a black short quilted one with the original lining.

Thanks for letting me share! :yahoo:

How warm are they?
I live in Houston and we've had some cold winters( even snow) the past few years!
I need a new coat and I've lost 40 lbs so I now fit into the XL quilted jacket!

I usually wear mine when it's in the 50's. I get hot very easily though, and being in Chicago, I have a higher tolerance for cold than someone from the South might have.

I just bought a black quilted jacket from Neiman Marcus (http://www.neimanmarcus.com/store/c...60741cat41160763cat41160761&isEditorial=false)
for 30% off - $495 down to $346 but my only concern is the sizing. The SA convinced me to buy a Small since it fitted better (and so i could wear it with a sweater underneath), but I think the real reason was that they didn't have an X-Small in stock. I usually wear a size 2 in all the clothes I buy. Should the jacket be a little loose or should it be completely fitted? Confused :(
Need guidance.

You are so right about asking me about the shoulders since thats the main area where I'm concerned. They seem to hang in the air :) a teeny bit. Maybe I should go and try the XS if they have it in store. Ill sleep better if I know Ive tried it.

It depends on what kind of clothes you wear
If you wear a lot of warm thick clothes, it's nice to have the jacket a bit loose. Especially since the quilted jackets are more 'in between jackets' in my opinion.

But the shoulders/arms shouldn't be oversized, that doesn't look good...
