I just got my first one over Christmas break! I think it's called "Ealand" since that is what is on the receipt, zip closure, a little bit over the hips, and belted. It also came with the other belt in the pic so that the belts can be switched around. I love it!!

Ignore pics of scarves. Those were bought during my spree too :push:

Ooh, I LOVE it!! I bet it looks great on you!

May I ask where you got it, and the price?

I have a Coach quilted jacket that is great, but I've also been looking for something like this (longer with belt), maybe in a darker color.

^ thanks Jenna! I got it from Burberry at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas but it's available at all Burberry nationwide. The price is $495. I believe it's also available in black. HTH!

depends on the exact jacket, I've found that almost every single style runs different.
Tne fitted ones usually run slim {especially if you have boobs! :(} the non fitted tend to run generously IMO.
I have 2 now.
I have a black one I've worn for 5 years and it has held up fantastically, its a light button up barn jacket - Constance maybe.
Then yesterday I bought a new one on sale in a Pomegranate color.\
NO idea of the name, but it's a little shorter than my barn jacket and fitted, it's adorable!

Thanks for the info! I tried looking at department store sites earlier, and wasn't able to find it. Guess I'll head downtown and check it out in person at the Burberry boutique.

And black would be perfect....

^ no problem Jenna! I saw both white and black today at the boutique in SF. the black is VERY nice but given that I already have 2 other black casual coats, I stuck with the white. you should get it :graucho:

My DH just got one for me for x-mas. It's a bit snug w/a sweater but it's fine. I first thought it was a bit 'mature' but I know that it is a classic that I can grow with. I wore it the other night w/some skinny jeans, pointy boots, long tunic tshirt and the matching scarf and I thought it looked pretty damned good!

^that's the one I've had for 5 years and it's still in amazing shape!
I've worn the heck out of it because it's the perfect weight for the South.
I'm not kidding, I've totally WORN it, it should be falling apart but I just had it dry cleaned and it's like new again.
The indestructability of it is what convinced me to get another.
