Thank you, Coach Addict. Thanks also for letting me know about the Coach shoe sale :D There are a few shoe styles that I like and will try to hold out to see if I'm included in next month's PCE invite list. I believe that PCE will take place in early Feb., if I'm not mistaken.

I need some help from you fashion conscience ladies!:smile1:
I'm love fashion for the most part but I have never been able to feel entirely comfortable wearing non matching shoes and handbags.
The problem is that I just fell in love with a chocolate brown handbag but I almost always wear black shoes or boots, is this a fashion no-no or is it okay? And also, just to make it harder, I always wear white gold or silver jewelry and the hangbag has brass hardware, I need help! :laugh:

I wouldn't let any of this bother you. I am not an expert, but I read and watch tv, ever see, "What not to wear"? Stacey (a fashion expert) says never match your shoes and bags. Heidi Klum (a fashion expert) on Project Runway always says "Don't be matchy matchy" In magazines, like In Style, mostly not matchy, but some times they do. Kate Middleton and Victoria Beckman are looked at for style, and they do both ways, so, like most things, do what you like, have fun "Don't Sweat the Small Stuff"

Thanks Marie Lee! I'm no expert either, but it's funny how even though the whole non match used to be a fashion faux pas (like white shoes after labor day), It's surprising how little there is about it on the Internet! When I googled it there was very little and what there was was dated back to 2008 and such!
I've seen What Not to Wear sometimes. I like it! I love the 'don't be matchy matchy!
the purse is a rich deep chocolate brown and I really love it!
