I don't wear Mono no more because it's tooooo often to see! My only Mono bag it's the Alma, because for me it's the one and only icon of LV!
I wear only Damier, Epi; nOMADE and Suhali of LV!

I didn't like the Damier pattern at first but it has grown on me the last year or so. I like how it doesn't scream LV.

My next bag is going to be Ebene - probably Speedy 30 for fall!

I wear a lot of brown, so I love it. I also feel like it is more understated when compared to mono. I love vernis for slgs but like the durability of the damier. I live in the midwest and we get a lot of rain and snow and I never have to worry about weather messing up my bag.

I love my damier ebene speedy 30.. it's classy but subtle. My mom loves it too and she's tired of monogram but I must say monogram is slowly growing on me. I think us LVoers go through stages and sometimes you love a style/pattern sometimes you don't.. I waver a lot. The vachetta is a nice bonus for the damier.

I love the Damier Ebene. I have no Mono pieces, simply because I really don't like the vachetta at all. However, I am considering the Speedy 30 in Idylle Fusain....but this doesn't have the vachetta, thankfully (for me). I have never considered the mono before I saw the Fusain, but the dark trim makes me ok with the mono pattern. Usually I like the damier as it is much more understated, and I like to fly under the radar.

I like the classy, understated look of the Danier pattern. I like the Mono pattern as well but I'm afraid to buy the bags due to the Vachetta. Yes, I would buy more Mono bags if they came without the Vachetta.

Yes and no. LOL!

Tbh I only bought it for the rainy/snowy days. But as I used it, it really started to grow on me. It also doesn't hurt that it was Louis Vuitton's original print. I'm not a big fan of the checkered look, but I agree that it is subtle chic. I use my Damier when I want to be more "low-key", even though every other LV user in my city has one! :p

Like a number of other posters on here, I don't like the damier pattern or the red interior. When it comes to canvas bags, I'm not a fan of how much vachetta needs babied, but given the choice, I'd still pick the mono over the damier any day.

Originally I was not drawn to the Damier print at all. I bought one to have for rainy days and fell in love with the print and have bought mostly all Damier bags ever since. I like both mono and damier equally. I don't care for Epi.

I see so~many Damier Ebene Speedy around my area as many as Mono. If I go to the mall, all I see is Ebene Speedy now.:wondering I live in CA by the way.

I like the Damier Ebene because it's relatively worry-free and it doesn't scream LV too much. The Monogram is ubiquitous and is the most replicated LV pattern ever so it rubs me the wrong way. However, I'm really liking the Monty and the Tivoli so I guess I don't really have a choice there. But overall, Damier Ebene for me if choices are available. :)

I love Damier because it reminds of me chocolate and the red lining is so pretty and posh. I only have one piece, the Trevi PM, but I would love a Speedy and Neverfull in Ebene. I have lots vachetta bags though, and I like the vach even though it's not as carefree as Damier.
