Do you like Damier because that's about the only option?

It appears Damier Ebene is more popular than monogram canvas when it comes to bags with both options - speedy, Alma, Neverfull, etc. Is Damier Ebene a more youthful print than monogram, or are today’s buyers wanting a more carefree option, or do DE buyers post more than monogram buyers?
I like DE for its non-Vachetta and also it’s discrete design. A non-luxury specialist would be able to tell its LV until they do a close up and see the tiny print on the checkers box. I don’t think it’s a youthful print to be honest, it does makes the bag looks more “mature” but I think the carefree option wins the practical hearts of DE supporters.
I like it because it's carefree. There are certain bags that I look at and like it in monogram better and certain bags (or SLGs) that I prefer in DE and I'm not entirely sure why!
DE is more carefree. Not as in your face like Monogram. Quite loud but balanced timeless.

I don't know what it is, but I find the DE print more classy. I say this as someone who owns both prints...
I agree…until I see someone wearing monogram and I think “dang, I should have worn monogram”
I have moved on to incorporate more items from the men’s collection to open up more options.
