I like crap hanging off my phone, bag, me.. lol
Since I dug up my aged Alma, I've been hunting for something fun to hang from it. I match the dangly to the personaliy of the bag.

That is just the thing I need. It looks so Florentine! What is it and Where do I get them!!!!
It's called a Rogue pod or Boobie, they are a traditional Balenciaga style charm. I bought this off of ebay, seller's name is tailortrash, they are made in Ireland, cost around $30. I just looked, she doesn't have any listed right now, and when she does they go fast !! You should contact her !!

a resounding yes. i used to like it without anything but now i treat my bags like christmas trees.... must be an age thing. depends on my mood though, sometimes i like minimalism, sometimes i want liberace.

Not sure. I think some are cute and pretty. But I feel like I'd rather put the money I'd spend on bag charms towards bags instead.

You don't have to spend a lot on bag charms unless you want to do so. I have a faux leather one from Target that I spent $5. I get compliments on it all the time. The most that I've ever spent was $25 on a "monster" charm from Amazon. There is NO WAY that I would spend $1500 on a charm. Like you, I'd rather spend that kind of money on a bag.

I will only attach 'charms' to my bag if it came with my bag i.e. my Keepall has the lock, luggage tag and that thing that keeps the handles together - then I will only keep those on the bag. On my Speedy B on the other hand I only attach the lock on the zipper pull and attach the keys to the D-ring. When I was at Fendi I was really tempted to get a Monster Micro Baguette (one of them that had a face and teeth and yellow fur beard) to attach to my Speedy B, but then I realised the 'bag charm' that I was going to get actually costed MORE than the bag that it was going to be added on as a piece of decoration. So I turned it down. I am tempted to get it as a mini bag, but if I were I'd rather get a preloved LV Soft Petit Malle - at least it can fit my phone in it and essentials. But yeah I am in the 'naked' bag camp!

I find some charms pretty for other people to use, and also I find some charms tacky. I like to keep my bags simple. I have no desire to pay hundreds for charms or having the charm rub against the gold tone hardware.
