I don't own any charms! I've considered getting a leather tasse once or twice and I might in the future, but for now I'm liking a cleaner look. I'm a big fan of charms on other people's bags though, especially those giant fur poms, but there's no way I'd even try to pull that off in this rainy city. A sad, soaked fur ball isn't very tempting.

It really depends on the bag for me. There are bags that are just beautiful by themselves and there are bags I need to jazz up a little.
I'm the same way. "Naked" seems best to me. I like the charms that come with my Lady Dior though, but again this is how the bag was designed.
But I don't do that with every of my bag. It's so hard to do it right.

This morning I've discovered, hidden on the back of a drawer, tons of extra charms I used to decor my bags. I have a dozen of them, hearth shaped, animal shaped, whatever shape they have... and used to love them... but now I've changed my preference... And I enjoy my bags out of the box. Maybe I'm getting too lazy or too old?!?!
Anyway, how about you? Am I the only one who changed mind? How do you like your bags?

I do like bag charms! Been adorning my school bags since teen years, but I am just lazy to search for the perfect charm in my collection to attach to my bag du jour.
As a rule, I don't use bag charms. But with that being said, I would love love love a Laduree Macarons charm. The one I'd like is the black/brown/ivory color with the black bow. No Laduree store near me, otherwise I know I'd weaken and have it. I would probably use it on my speedy or Turenne. I'd be afraid to put it on my Alma vernis though for fear of scratching it. And my Capucines, never. That bag is too classic in my opinion for a charm. But then, that's just me.
I like charms, but hate clunky metal ones on my bags! I have tassels, fake fur pompoms, leather bows, even a plush Hello Kitty and a Teddykompaniet mini teddy bear.
I also have a few pretty reflectors that I put on my bags; a feather, an angel and a parrot. These keep me (and my bag) safe in the dark wintertime.
Once bought a large chain&heart bag charm, used it once and got rid of it. Not only did it make my bag heavier, it was also noisy. Ugggh.

Like others have said, it depends on my mood. But mostly I just prefer to keep the bags as they are.
My fiancee gave me a fun pom pom charm recently (there seems to be a trend for them right now) but I put it on my keys instead. Then I lost it.

I like charms but I find I prefer leather charms. Quieter. But the cutest ones always are metal so I just try not to make too much noise with them.
