Do you have any weird bag behavior?

I'm the same way, I never put my bags on the floor, especially a bathroom floor. I guess my office or at home I'm ok with the floor, but no to public restrooms! I see that under the stalls and I shudder.

I also really hate it when I hang my purse on a chair at a restaurant, and people and chairs bump into my purse! So I use a purse hook

I like to pretend I am going out for the day even if If not the case at all, by putting the essentials in my bag. That is my weirdest behavior.

I put my bag behind me too if there is no extra chair.
I NEVER put my bag on the floor, and if i uses the ladies room I leave my purse at the table, if someone is with me to watch it. If I'm alone it's like a juggling act. My purse is often between my legs as I wash my hands. lol

Great thread - agree with the insomnia behavior being both a cause and a result of getting bags or searching for bags.

When I get a new bag, if I don't think it's a perfect match for my needs right away, I won't use it till I make a final decision. I probably end up getting rid of too many bags this way since I don't give them a real chance. It's also a problem with online shopping and not trying the bag on in a store. But I can't get to stores that often, and I still enjoy browsing online.

OMG we have identical bag OCD. I love to put them in my closet and play with them. I'm this way with clothes and shoes too! I play dress up with them until I decide. I'm also bad at returning (UNUSED) bags. There are times when I can't walk by certain salespeople at Saks and Neimans!! My mom says im "banned" from stores!

I have many of the same weird bag behaviors.!! When I first buy any of my bags I take them out of the box and admire them for the first week to a few weeks and admire their beauty! [emoji177]
I never put any one of my bags on the floor (any floor).
I will yell at anyone (fiancé, mom, friends) holding my bags the wrong way, like don't touch my bags if you don't know how to treat them with tender love & care.
Hate when ppl walk by and bump into my bags so I give them dirty looks and expect a sorry, but wouldn't care if they bumped into me. Lol : psycho :[emoji847]
Also I don't let anyone borrow my bags with the exception of my mom and even then I lecture her about how she should treat them. Lol!! [emoji28]

I play with my bags all the time. Putting them on me at the mirror and swapping out straps for new looks and figuring out various uses for smaller bags/clutches/pouches and which big bags they could be paired beautifully with. Imagining scenarios in which a rarely used bag that I do love could be useful if I pack or carry her 'this way' or 'that way' (basically trying to bag hack my life to maximize joy in an equal distribution from my collection).

I've noticed that when I get a new bag, I tend to wear really plain clothes - jeans and a white t-shirt - the first time (or even the first few times) I wear the bag out. Kind of like I'm just letting the bag shine? It's like it helps me get to know the bag and get a feel for what kind of vibe it has. LOL.

I smell my leather bags and slgs, not just when they're new... so heavenly. I also constantly hold lambskin items. I know. It's pathetic...lol. Thankfully, I only do this at home and sometimes in the car. My kids either just think nothing of it or secretly think I'm weird. Oh well that's just me.

If i can help it, i dont let anyone touch my bags.
And i always make sure, there's a reuseable bag inside the new bag, just in case it rains! .. A "bag raincoat" I am no stranger to checking the forecast.....Haha

Oh and i am very nervous walking on the sidewalks next to cars and their exhaust fumes! I'll switch hands/shoulders

I like to pretend to do an "unboxing" of my new bag to myself hahaha. I don't even have a YouTube channel.

Also I don't know if it's just me but I'm too paranoid to put my bag behind me on the same chair that I'm sitting on. I feel like someone could just grab it sneakily and I wouldn't know because it is behind my back. I often rather just hold my bag in my lap and eat very slowly/strategically so no food falls on it as I'm eating haha.

OMG I do the same thing with the constantly holding lambskin and even in the car! But I know for a fact my kids think I am weird.
