I love my jige in Electric Blue. I use it for casual lunches or dinner with friends or family. I throw it in a larger tote for work days and i know I’m going to an event after. I always dreamed of having a KP but now my three mini roulises take care of the evening bag need plus shoulder or cross body is so freeing for my lifestyle. Im glad I have one in a minimal design and pop color! I use a beautiful monogrammed insert with it as my hold all too to protect the canvas lining.

Love these pics, @lanit !

So while I don’t have what would be thought of as a clutch lifestyle, my actual rushed and lazy lifestyle is definitely appropriate for clutches!
Yup....exactly how I feel!

Wonderful collection you have! My approach to clutches is very much like yours. I use them as day bags, sometimes combined with other bags. I don't have a collectors mentality with bags, but I find with clutches, they are so easy to collect and so useful... that the temptation is there.
Thank you. Not only do I find them easy to carry, but as someone with a small closet, I love that they don’t take up much physical space in there. Btw, the octogone, being one (relatively) large open space, holds a lot.

I love my jige in Electric Blue.
Your jige is beautiful. I’m beginning to think I’d like to add one because every time I see a photo of one here on the forum, I start thinking about how I’d use one.

I believe at the very least everyone should carry a clutch inside a big bag. I always dislike when a woman comes into a working meeting with a humongous work bag and starts fumbling inside for a pen or something. Girl, leave the bag in the office and bring a clutch!

I have 5 Hermes clutches. A Jigge, a Faco, a Rio and 2 nameles vintage. Well, they are all vintage (I dislike the East/West Jigge). Also have a 70s trousse that I use a summer clutch. I'd love a 1938, and the Verrou, although it is so expensive that I may prefer it with the strap (which I have), but a vintage E/W Verrou from the 30s would be a dream. Now that I see your Octagones I want those too. I am not sure about the KP... I don't have a collectors mentality with bags, but I find with clutches, they are so easy to collect and so useful... that the temptation is there.
I do that most days at work very useful! Also i can vouch for the KP easy to use, under the radar and fits tons. I have one in swift and would love to get one more should the opportunity arise. @diane278 your octagons are now haunting me. Can you please post some more photos of them in action and what you can fit?

I had to use my iPad to take the photos while my phone was in the bag. That’s why they look so awkward. The octogone holds a lot because it’s one deep hole of space.
When I’m being organized I use a pouch to corral loose stuff.

Usually, I just toss stuff in. (It may seem odd but I’m never without toothbrush, toothpaste & floss.)

‘Here’s everything tossed in. I can easily fit more, including a pair of sunglasses on the top.

Heading out....only three stops to make and warm enough to skip wearing a coat.....

Stunning! Both you and the clutch complement each other beautifully.

I always enjoy looking at your pictures. Simple but elegant as always.:heart:

You look great!

So I am not sure if these qualify, but I did get them to use as clutches since the back slip pocket holds a phone, and the interior is large enough to fit money/ cards plus lip gloss, extra contacts and ear buds...they are a bit large for anything but Evie's or B's (or Chanel jumbos).

I mentioned earlier that I do the exact same thing, use a Constance wallet as a clutch.
In my article I excluded this option because it’s technically a wallet, but it’s really great as a clutch. I went so far as to keep my iPhone smaller just so that it would fit!
