I freaked out when my friends touching my lambskin jumbo, specially when they're wearing fancy big ring or jewelry that might scratch my lambskin:nogood:, because me myself don't wear jewelry when i use my lambskin flap.

If some random person grabbed my purse I'd be thinking they were trying to mug me! I don't have mace, but I do have a good scream in me!

I agree that we have personal space, and people really should respect that. If they would like to see something, the polite thing to do is ask, not grab. I love the way you teach a toddler about grabbing or taking things: "what's the rule if it's not yours?" "don't touch it." That works for toys and bags. :)

Great rule, tutushopper!

So far it has never happened to me, we're a little more conservative here.

But i wouldn't mind, as long as they ask politely first. I'm sure whatever stains or damages they inflict is nothing the bag spa can't fix. ^^

I can't help but flinch when strangers try and grab my jumbo! Recently I was shopping at an H&M and the girl behind the register grabbed my red gst so roughly. I squealed!

Lol I tried to hold it in but I just couldn't the thought of her germy hands (touching money all day) on my new baby made me scream in horror and because I was sure she had bent it.. I smiled and said thanks to her compliment but rushed out of there.

In the past I have told my fiancé to be more careful and make sure he doesn't bend it lol
He now knows the correct way to handle all my bag now <3

But listening to all these stories just horrifies me more and more. I no longer want to carry my bags in public :D :drama queen:

It does bother me! I respect everyone and everything that doesn't belong to me. I take care of my things wayyyy too much, to have someone not do the same when it's not even theirs. My 15 year old daughter and my DH (who pays for most of my expensive things) know how to carefully handle my bags. I would never grab or touch anyone's personal items without saying first....may I???? :)

I got picked pocket 3 times before... years before I even wore Chanel... so I am not comfortable strangers trying to touch my bag since in the back of my head I am still thinking of those horrible incident (I don't mean they are a thief or anything, its just I am more careful now.).. So I tend to keep my bag really close to me :)
However, for people I know, I don't really mind them checking out my bag since most of them ask first or handle them gently (I never make a point they are expensive purses, but I think flaps give that vibe... hahahah!)... I don't worry about other people that much (Compared to other people, I'm the worst thing that happened to my bags.... I'm downright clumsy), I worry about my cats more... they got claws and fangs.... yes... I'm more worried about them... :D

Haha I don't even like it when people look at my bags. Weird but true, I keep my best bags at home where I can look at it all the time but hardly ever what them out. It bothers me that my babies are not in perfect condition. I guess I have the mind of a collector.

it freaks me out when people put my bag on the floor so they can sit... i would usually walk straight over and say politely "let me get my bag out of ur way" but really Im think "get away from my bag! she does not touch the floor!!!" Hahahaha
I do not like people touching my bag...just don't do it lol, and I agree she never goes on the floor. :hbeat:

Yes I would inside me but since not everyone know firstly the price I m paying for those bags and secondly how delicate the bags could be, I may not be able to enjoy using the bags at all. So as long as people are not damaging my bags, touching is so-so fine.

The only person I have to worry about touching my bag is my boyfriend. Whenever I leave it on his desk chair, I'm forever paranoid that he'll just sit his butt on it. It's happened before...

That being said, whilst he absolutely HATES my penchant for designer bags, he completely understands my pain when I find a new dent on my lambskin flaps and why I have to spend up to 10 minutes massaging it out :)
massaging it out....:lolots: sounds like me!
