Do you feel guilty about money spent on designer bags?

Strangely enough i would feel guilty when its cheap (less than $200) because I know I am not going to use it often and it might end up in my lil sisters closet. But I still buy them anyway! Its a duty of a girl to feed her bag needs!

I only feel guilty if I end up not using the bag very much, but so far that has only happened once.

Often, but that is because I buy sale bags on impulse (because, you know, it's a good deal) and then they just sit there. I don't feel bad about the ones I use all of the time.

I just ordered first. Having some guilt. I ordered lv estrela. Now thinking there were other totes a lot less expensive and requiring less maintenance ie. totally. Reassurance?

Yes, especially when I see others struggling just to survive. It's that very reason that caused me to step back and reevaluate things.

Not really. I'm 16 so my parents pay for most of mine/give me an allowance. I am aware this maybe sounds spoiled but they can afford it so I don't feel guilty

I've always been very generous when buying gifts for family and friends.
It's only natural that I spoil yours truly as well.
Each purchase tends to be in the classic range however,so no fear of the my stuff quickly becoming widely copied, or yesterday's news .

I don't feel guilty if I made a careful choice and it wasn't an impulse buy. I knew how much I was going to spend and what I wanted. It was a premeditated buy. I feel guilt when I overbuy because of retail therapy or impulse. I usually return those, which is why I try to avoid eBay. Now that I'm older I'm looking for quality over the latest deal. I was addicted to buying things on sale for the sake of getting a deal. I'm trying to get over that now.

I still cannot justify to myself spending a thousand and more on any one bag, so am guilt free for now. Maybe five more years I will be more daring.

I work hard and I get an amazing cost per wear on each of the items.
I also strive to be financially responsible, so there's no guilt at all in my hobby.

Was feeling kinda guilty last autumn after my Paris haul... then recently I looked at the price hikes posted on tPF, all that guilt flew out of the window

This was the start of my guilt and I've started rethinking of the things I buy.

Also I got a cat recently and I see how expensive it is for their medical treatments, I feel horrid that someone has to put down their pet since they can't afford it while I can buy an expensive bag.
