I agree 100% with ya Linda.Honestly, I don't feel any guilt. Any money I spend, I made off my own labor and talent, so feel it's mine to spend if I wish. My purchases are generally well-planned: I like looking good, and bags are part of my wardrobe and lifestyle. I also keep my bags for years, trot them out often, and enjoy the heck out of carrying them. I get my money's worth out of every purchase. They're not frivolous; they're part of how I communicate and interact with the world. I don't see anything to feel guilty about.
...think about all the stuff i could have bought for the price of that one bag. Example: for the price of one $2000 bag, you could probably buy a few pairs of shoes, new jeans, a nice dress, bunch of tops and maybe one lower end designer bag.
I agree with all your comments. If you can afford it and all your other bills are paid off then why not treat yourself? But I personally still can't get over how many other things i could buy for the price of one designer bag, i haven't spent more than 500$ on a bag yet cause i'm still a student but even with my $500 purchase, the whole way home i was thinking to myself "wow i could have bought my whole summer wardrobe for that" haha, BUT it was a damn good purchase and i know i'll be using that bag for years![]()
...I go in the LV forum and see the folks with 30+ $1000-5000 bags! Then I feel hopelessly impoverished!
