Do you ever feel like your bags aren't 'good enough' to post about or reveal?

I own or have owned hundreds of bags in my life, my favorite still to this day is a bag I bought in college. I bought it a mall when they were having a "sidewalk" sale. It was $3. I wore that bag until I literally wore it out. Best bag I've ever had.
How about a picture? I'd love to see it!

I also concur that I want to see 'not good enough' bags. They're good enough.

Some posh designers just don't 'click' with an individual's aesthetic. I understand that, say, Versace china settings are expensive and desirable, but the look doesn't do it for me. I agree that Chanel bags are finely made and that the price is high for actually pretty good reasons, but the Chanel look just isn't for me. I could afford to have a couple, but I don't because Coco doesn't do it for me and I don't want to pay for stuff I 'should' have but don't like.

I wouldn't want super-ornate carved wood furniture in my house, whether it came out of the basement of Versailles or not. Let someone else who will love it have it!
Likewise, it's nice to see ultra riche bags and all, but I love finding someone I DONT know about. When people post inexpensive beautiful bags and they know the brand/style name?? Jackpot!!

I kinda feel sorry for people who don't like anything that cost less than x. There aren't many people for whom money is literally no obstruction. I doubt we have hundreds of Arab oil sheiks, software moguls, Astors and Waltons on here. Unless your last name is Buffett or Rockefeller, you cannot afford an unlimited, infinite supply of true haute couture and large crocodile Birkins either, so you just look silly looking down on those of us not buying half a million dollars of Dior every year. There's ALWAYS someone richer than you. There ARE people buying half a million dollars of one designer at a time.

Goodness, everyone nowadays thinks it's no shame to mix high and low. If it's good enough for Kate Moss and royalty, it's good enough for me!

Please, ladies (and gents) post your loved finds no matter how 'little' they are worth. I think the majority here don't mind and get excited about bags, not money.

Remember at the end of 'Citizen Kane'...? All that money, all that fancy bling, and all he wanted was cheap, tatty, worn little Rosebud.
Post those bags!

TPF is a microcosm.
I live in a city where I rarely see a lady wearing a high end bag and it's also true in the closest bigger town where there are lots of prestigious boutiques ( Hermès, Chanel, LV etc).
