Do you ever feel like your bags aren't 'good enough' to post about or reveal?

Yes I feel this way about all of the bags I buy. If I see someone reveal the same bag I bought, I avoid doing the same thing because I feel they already saw it and don’t need to see it again. I don’t want to bore people with it so meh... it’s ok.

I wouldn't say my bags aren't good enough- I absolutely love the very few that I have. I just feel that the ones I have are pretty classic (some might say basic) and have been seen on these boards time and time again. I feel like I wouldn't be contributing much. I'm also very lazy when it comes to photographing my bags haha. But I genuinely love seeing all kinds of bags on the boards- all styles and all price points. I hate to think that anyone feels like their bags aren't good enough to show off. We're all passionate about bags here. Whatever type of bag you have, I guarantee someone would love to see it.

This isn't directed at anybody in particular and I love this forum. I am just wondering if anyone else feels this way. My bags are all pre-loved. I really enjoy them. But they aren't Bals, LVs, or anything like the beautiful bags I see posted here. They are not on trend and cost me under 100.00. I just don't think anyone would be interested in seeing mine when there are so many more expensive and beautiful bags posted here. Is it just me?

You should buy and wear the bags you love first of all. Don't buy bags only because they are "classier" or by a famous designer only to show them to other People.

Well I do buy bags that I love, and wear them, but they are not by Contemporary Designers and definitely not Premier Designers.. I didn't feel that anyone may be interested in them. However after starting this thread, and reading the responses, I don't feel that way anymore. Everyone has been very nice :)

Well the bag is still new to you, so you should reveal it if you want to. I've seen a lot of Pandoras and I never get sick of looking at that bag!

Thank you!

Actually I am a bit borred when a new LV speedy or Neverfull is revealed - well options are DE ore that monogram style - duhhh
Chanels are nice - but they kind of look the same to me, caviar leather in black or not.

I love bags, I really do but I don't think that higher end brands offer more quality.
I have Pradas, MCM, Aigner Munich, Mullberry and Tod's but they are not better quality than my Furla, Coccinelle, Bree, Coach or Dooneys. For me Dooneys are bag heaven because they are really hard to get where I live and I adore the craftsmanship.

When I was still in college I could not imagine that anyone would spend more than 35 Euro on a bag. One day I totally fell in love with a company called Bree. The leather and the craftsmanship was just georgeous. Back then - it was about 2002 - I could not imagine that anyone would spend 250-300 Euro on a bag.
So I would just drool over them - because on my way to university I had to pass all the fancy boutiques every single day.

One day we went to Paris with some friends and we shared a room in this budget hotel. Next to the hotel was a shop where you could get all the cheap stuff for one Euro. I had forgotten something and I was sure to find it there. When I entered I couldn't believe my eyes. There were my drooled over Bree bags sitting on shelves for 20 Euro. At first I thought they were fakes - but no, they were the real deal. Some had little flaws but others were perfect. I got 3 bags - one polished calf skin with suede lining and two other bags for 60 Euro. So I asked the SA why they sold these bags for that price and she said - you know nobody knows the brand here so they have no value to us.
so ladies - money is not alwasy related to quality!
These are the two bags that started my love for quality bags.

Those bags are beautiful and look like they will last a long time. I would love to find some quality bags like yours, I would wear them all the time!

They are all about 8 to 10 years old actually, and still in great shape! I think the quality of the leather and the workmanship was so much better than it is today. Botkier, Kooba, Linea Pelle and Hayden Harnett (among others) made bags with better leather and better quality than most of the newer bags I see now.
And I do wear them all the time! :)
