And I kid you not they asked him what he was looking for, he told them and they looked at him and said "honey, maybe Macy's is more in your budget" are you kidding me!!! He was wearing nice golf shorts, a lacoste polo and sperry slip ons. For real lady?!?!? She no longer is employed with the company![]()
maryelle said:i would never wear a tracksuit or any athletic wear (like every single college girl on campus) to the boutique. i'd feel degraded in my own way. even flip flops make me feel like i'm poor. i'd always wear something at least, respectable, so that the sales associates will show me respect and not ignore my existence. in my opinion, it's like going to an interview. you're not going to wear causal clothing because the clothes you wear is a part of the first impression you're giving.

I am typically found in my usual "west coast uniform" (yoga pants, T-shirt and Lululemon jacket).
Dressed up is jeans, a blouse, a blazer and boots.
I figure that smart sales people know better than to judge a book by its rather "casual cover" and the other type of sales person I'm not interested in dealing with.
No, I never do. Last summer I went in really loud I'm-on-the-beach kinda shorts and flipflops to pick up a bag that was being repaired...
The funniest thing was the costumers looked at me from head to toe in a snotty manner when I entered the store, then all the SAs went to hug me and offer me something to drink, you should have seen their faces!![]()
Wow, how cool the answer of ur friend in chanel was! But normally i am not that cool (feel sorry for myself). It's a pity that i'v never been in USA, but i heard the service there is always better than in Germany. U know, some asians describe germany as 'a desert of service' (hope other german girls here dont mind......) one time i wanted to buy a schweizer armeemesser for my friend so i went to a mall with my husband. He asked the sa there very friendly 'can i have a look......' But he even hasn't finished yet and the sa interrupted him loudly 'u didnt see that i am very busy now?!' After that she ignored us all the time so i left to one other mall......haha maybe that's a German thing!I got to know many many unfriendly SAs (not at LV but in other expensive store as well) . I always feel like SAs in the US are a lot nicer
A friend of mine went to Chanel (also in Frankfurt) and asked the SA to show her a bag. Then the SA said "hmm..well. This bag is very expensive...." blabla and my friend was like "yap. Perhaps it's expensive for YOU. Bye"
