Do you carry your bag on the left or right side?

Which side do you prefer most?

  • Left

  • Right

  • Either side don't matter. I'm comfortable and switch between both.

  • It depends on where I wear it, like my arm, shoulder, hand, etc. Combo of both.

I have to carry my bag on my left arm - I'm right handed. I find I prefer having my "strong" arm/hand free to use, it just feels more comfortable KWIM? :)

I'm right handed and only use my right shoulder, can't use the left at all, it feels completely wrong and uncomfortable, don't even try it there these days. But if I use crook of arm its always the left arm, haven't even tried the right one, just feels good on the left, if I'm carrying a bag in my hand usually the right, but i can easily use my left, it's weird but seems we all have the same arm issues so i guess you'd call it normal :o)

Ok, this might sound a bit silly, but I'm really curious :p
I noticed, that I can't wear my bags on my left shoulder! It's not that it's more comfortable on the right, I just can't have them left... Am I crazy? *lol*
When I feel I need a break from carrying my bag, I'd love to change the side. But I have to carry the bag in my hand then, cause it always slips from my left shoulder... I'm right handed and "right shouldered"
How about you?
No - you are not alone!! I am left - handed, but just can't carry it on my left shoulder/arm - does'nt feel right! Also, a bit of curious info I read - and this might tempt me to alternate, is that apparently, the side of the body you usually carry the bag on can eventually start carrying more muscle/fat??!!....Yep, I actually read this in the Daily Mail a while ago...what will they come up with next....but it's made me a little paranoid as I don't want to become lopsided!!!!

I'm left-handed also! I carry my bags on my right arm and shoulder. It feels odd on my left. However, this isn't surprising for me because writing is the only thing I do with my left--e.g., I cut and throw with my right.

Left shoulder. Always. I'm right handed. I will even carry my carry on tote with my purse on my left shoulder when I travel. I have to have my right arm free. However, if its a crossbody I hang it on my right shoulder with the bag on my left hip. Odd....

I'm a breast cancer survivor and developed lymphedema in my left arm/hand a year ago. I have to wear my handbags on my right shoulder, as I'm not supposed to put any additional weight/strain on my left shoulder. When my daughter was born, I couldn't carry my daughter in a sling like other new moms :sad::sad:.

I'm left-handed, and if it weren't for the lymphedema, I would naturally wear my handbags on my left shoulder.
