Interesting thread.. I've never thought about the zipper pull when purchasing a bag. I'll have to consider it next time.
I'm right-handed, carry bags on right shoulder.
same here. I would find it uncomfortable on my right arm.I'm right handed, but I carry my bags on my left shoulder or left arm. I like my right hand to be free.
Ok so far 50% of respondents voted right shoulder right-handed. Since most handbags/purses/totes are made with zippers that open from left to right (i.e. when you're facing the front of the bag), then wearing such a bag on your right shoulder means you have to stretch your arm to the back to open the bag while wearing it. How do you manage that, as I don't have eyes behind me, can't see what I'm digging for.
For those of you who have bags with zippers running right to left, or with double zipper tabs, what brands may they be?
As far as I know, Kipling makes their zippers right to left, but I'm not really into their designs much.

Right-handed, and I always wear my bag on my left shoulder. It feels really strange on my right shoulder, like it's going to fall off or something.
