Do you carry your bag on the left or right side?

I carry my bags on my left shoulder but when they're in my hand it's my right hand (and I'm right handed). It's funny, if I put my bag on my right shoulder it falls right off I just can't carry it on that one lol

I am right handed and I use to carry my bags in my right shoulder or hand.

Results of the survey surprise me. I used to think that most of people carry their bags in their left shoulder because when I carry bags in my right shoulder the zipper is near my back.

I dont know why.. I just cant carry my bags on the right.. it bugs me. Maybe its because its my dominant side? I find it easier to carry my purse this way when Im shopping for sure, so i can use my right hand to pick up stuff, lol

Hmmm, very interesting thread! I really haven't given this much thought, but it is interesting that I'm right-handed, but I've always carried my handbags on my left shoulder. A few years back, when I hurt my left arm, it felt strange to wear a handbag on my right shoulder. When I wear a crossbody, the strap has to be on my left shoulder and the handbag MUST rest at my right hip. If not, I feel so out-of-sorts that I cannot wear the handbag.

Always on my left shoulder. I've noticed recently that most of the women I see carry it on their right. I wonder why I have always chosen the left.....

Interesting. I carry shoulder bags on right. I carry hand-held bags with my left hand more often because I need the right hand/arm free (right handed).
