Do Chanel shoes run true to size?

I have several pairs of Chanel boots, flats, and heels and I always wear 1/2 size up as Chanel tends to run small.

it seems that my Chanel shoes or boots always need to be sized up from my real size 6. 36 is usually snug, though I do own one size 36 pair of boots because the 37's are literally one inch too large. Unfortunately, in Chanel (and Prada, too) I find European sizing to be a farce.

I find no difference between flats and heels, always 1/2 size larger than usual. As for espadrilles I need a whole size up.

They fit wide feet as well. Pick your usual European sizing.

I honesty think the answer would be different for every pair of shoe. Even comparing flats to flats you won't end up wearing the same size.

This is true, you have to try them on.....

I notice my first flats from Chanel are half a size up too - they do seem to run smaller.....

I've just always worn the standard width and they work fine with my wide feet.

In international sizes and they have two different fittings in some of the flats -

B which is normal
C for the wider feet.

I am always the same size 38 in every pair i own and always a B if the shoe comes with the extra options too.

Thankyou for clearing that up! I have wide feet that are also quite big (bane of my life!) so I think I'll try on the C fit

Dumb question[emoji15]but has anyone ever taken their chanel ballet flats to a shoe repair to be stretched? I just bought 2 beautiful pair at a size 39. I'm a size 9. (Sometimes 8.5) and they're way too tight. Non refundable because I bought through EBay. Both pair are new and fabulous...do you think I'll ruin them if I get them stretched????
